King Dinuzulu Hospital Complex

Worst hospital ever I don’t recommend this hospital too any one especially for women that are pregnant and want too deliver there , the doctors at the ward are horrible and have no mercy on women that are in unbearable pain they hit you and force you too push … they also screamed at me and threatened me too shut up cos if not they wouldn’t have helped me deliver my baby … the worst thing was when. My baby was born they took her and threw her on me with that action done my baby’s neck or life could have been gone I’ve even asked them why they didn’t that if they could not have handed the baby too me properly they said no because I didn’t want too push or because I was finding it difficult too push it means I didn’t want the baby so even if she died it shouldn’t matter too me … secondly when they was stitching me they did it in such a terrible way I could feel very thing and it too me over a month too recover from the stitches … I would not wanna see another women go throw what I went through it was honestly the most worst experience in my life I was wanting too sue the hospital but didn’t have time with a new born ofcos I remembered the doctor that delivered my baby and would like too expose her pls ladies don’t make a mistake and go there like I did this hospital doesn’t even deserve one star

Clean hospital ,amazing maternity staff in ward E ,pleasant and very helpful definitely a good experience

Pathetic service had to spend 1 days without seeing nob1 is briefing us on anything this, I'm sick needed help but was in a wrongly Hospital,ppl care at had to leave on the second day, it's disgusting, I took days from work for this

If I could rate this hospital lower than 1 star I would. How PATHETIC and what an ordeal, the most unpleasant experience ever. The staff don't even start working at 8, they do when they feel they want to today was an hour late. There is NO ORDER what so ever. Saying I'm dissapointed going there for the 1st time would be an understatement. I went out fuming, that place makes my blood boil. Disgusted!!!!!

The experience was very bad,the service from the guy at the Reception n Dental was very rude I visited the hospital on the 28/12/22 and I paid,I came back on the 04/01/23 and I had to pay again yet I told me I'm currently unemployed but I was forced to pay that R40 and he told me I have it's my dutie toa provide proof of unemployment not his job

I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital. I gave birth to my son in 2013 and I was treated like royalty. I had to be admitted because my son was prematurely and he was under weight. At the same I was going through some sort of depression but the nurses and doctors were very supportive and understanding. This year I was pregnant and I had a still baby. I have never experienced such love and support from a public facility before. From the doctors, nurses and the mortuary staff, they were all very supportive. They showed me kindness and love and for that I will forever be grateful. Please keep up the good work. NB: I was in ward E during both my pragnancies

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE services rendered. As taxpayers we expect to be treated with dignity by South African Government health care workers yet we receive treatment not even fit for dogs. The staff carry on as if they don't get a salary every month. As a health care worker you take an oath, the staff as King Dinizulu Hospital are the pits!!

Started from the clinic ANC , all the sisters were very nice except the receptionist. I didn't like the way she was shouting at expecting mothers. Moved to ward J all the sisters were also nice, sister G, sister Nomthi. but there was this one sister, sister Xulu I think she's got a mental problem because there's no way a sister in her right state of mind can shout and swear pregnant women who are in labour like that. The doctors were also very nice, Dr Kalal and Dr Ngcongo. Moved to Labour ward, that timeI was in so much pain and I was handed to nurse Khuzwayo, what a nurse!!! I really believe she's got a calling in nursing. God bless that woman While in Labour ward I was treated by Dr Mwande who also performed my C-section also a very good doctor my wound is healing perfectly Moved to ward K, I can't remember the names but it was three gentlemen, one with glasses and one Indian lady. Excellent team!!! Excellent service!!! The service is perfect at KGCH. A very clean hospital. Keep up the good work!!!

Worst hospital in the world ever, this hospital doesn't even deserve this star, it deserves a lower star then this. I would never recommend it even in my sleep. Service is very bad. This must be the last hospital a person must end up too.
