Lepis Dore Bakery and Bistro

I recently came across this cute French bistro whilst looking for parking in Hazelwood on Friday afternoon and it has to be one of my favourite restaurants in Pretoria. I went again on Monday. The service is excellent. The food is delicious. Lovely ambiance. The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had especially on these cold winter days. Salad has great flavours. The burnt cheese cake melts in your mouth. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Beautiful restuarant with fantastic service and amazing food. The setting is clean, contemporary and well arranged. The food is absolutely incredible and can very easily rival a far more expensive restaurant. The beef Wellington is incredible! Will definitely be back again.

My new favourite coffee shop! Super menu with a variety of dishes to choose from and amazing cuppacino. L'pis Doré is cozy, stylish and vibrant.

This is a real little gem! Love the atmosphere, and the decor is beautifully done. The food was good but it has been better in the past. Service was good but could be better. Would recommend you pop in for a croissant and cappuccino.Food: 4/5

This is a atypical South African French restaurant. The meals are delicious and the services is friendly. On numerous occasions including today the drinks are very disappointing. What you are served does not match the menu description. For example. Today I ordered a Segafreddo iced coffee & ice cream. When served there is no ice cream at all. Just crushed iced and this is how it is served accordingly to the waiter.

The setting is lovely, if you use a little imagination you might think you are sitting in a bistro in France. The food is excellent, the kind that makes you say an involuntary "mmmh yum" when you take the first bite. I can highly recommend the "oufs benedict" and a silky cappuccino while you sit outside listening to the sound of running water and French music playing in the background.

L'epis Dore is a definition of "dynamite come in small..." a small haven of tasty "eggs" and smoked bacon's and fresh croissant. For a moment you forget that you are in Hazelwood, Pretoria and see yourself in France! Great Service, Great environment. Parking: Limited. You are lucky to have it next to the spot... But you can always park up the street.

Delighted with this gem. Food us excellent and the atmosphere very special. Very good service and excellent quality. Highly recommend is the soft open omelettes with pork belly or chicken livers. Lip smacking!

Beautiful setting and yummy food. Maintenance of the facilities especially the toilets could use a little more attention.

Mmmmm.....my first visit....exceptionally large menu....my dish was ok....my partners burger was great. I had to send the cutlery back as it was dirty. Lovely outdoor area we sat outside in the winter sun, but I don't think I'll be going back for seconds.Food: 3/5
