I was admitted for a Stent procedure conducted by Dr Du Toit and a bypass by Dr Harris. Both were excellent at what they do. The sisters at the ward were very caring and very very hardworking. I have great respect for each individual of Life Bay View Hospital. Thank you though no amount of gratitude will compare to the care they delivered and continue to do so.

Overall we are very disappointed by how unhelpful and unfriendly the nurses were. The administration staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at the hospital. The nurses don't know how to care for a patient and they caused more problems than what we came for. We are aware that not all of them are disappointing but we strongly suggest that you solve this problem immediately since people's lives are in your hands.

We had a VERY bad experience for the first time ever at Life Bay View Hospital. Usually we always receive 5 star service but this morning I left the emergency unit in tears and extremely upset and angry. My husband had severe pain, the Dr on duty were unhelpful, said we had an attitude and raised his voice at us. I can honestly say we were only trying to get help and pain relief for my husband. The nurses on duty were helpful, as always.

Arrived at the hospital to see an elderly gentleman sitting on the bottom step of the emergency entrance in his shortie pajamas and thin teeshirt. Arm in a sling shivering. He told me he had xrays on his shoulder and one doctor said it was brocken and the other said it was not. He was then told he needs to leave the hospital as they need his bed! He went to reception and asked for a second opinion the doctor seeing him got aggressive. Reception said he could take legal action if he wanted. I helped the gentleman poss 65 yrs old from the step to the Merchant where i offerred to buy him a cup of coffee and sit him in the warm part of the room. However his friend arrived to collect him and i said my good byes. He was going yo go to his personal doctor for an opinion on the xray disk he had in his possession. Was a very unpleasant experience for me to see a man in pain and shivering on step of a hospital and no assistance or human courtesy was offerred to him. I hope he gets better service at another institution.

Husband came in, believing he has malaria 1hour10min still no doctor in sight with a fever of 39. After asking what’s happening the staff keeps on saying the doctor is on his way. Will never visit this hospital again. Second time in a row coming to the emergency ward and receiving bad service.

Very good doctors, nursing staff, admin and security staff. Casualty exellent! I was so we took my sister there. She was treated with urgency and effeciency. Philna Hendriet

By far one of the best hospitals I've ever been at - friendly, caring, and professional staff. Brilliant facilities and very neat hospital.

Had a Emergency.Reception at Emergencies was 110% Professional en helpfull.Paperwork done.Dr did his duty110% so the nurse aswell.Big thumbs up Thank you

The receptionist, Roxanne, was outstanding. Dr Du Toit also excellent. But unfortunately the rest of my and my mother’s experience was very poor. My mother had a pacemaker fitted and the communication through the whole process was unacceptable. We chose this place expecting excellent service befitting the private hospital expectation. Sadly we are left disappointed and frustrated. Just some information and care can go a long way towards making stressed and tired people feel secure and in the right hands. Not enough empathy towards patients or concerned family members.

What an awesome bunch, attended to our situation immediately and without hesitation , no waiting, excellent bedside manner highly recommended
