Description

Lindani is a 3800ha game farm in the Waterberg 275kms north of Johannesburg situated on the Palala and Melk rivers. It has eight secluded houses and lodges, each with its own pool, to hire on a single party booking basis. Guests are given considerable freedom to explore and enjoy the outdoor activities on offer – no quadbikes and motorbikes are however allowed.
Guests can choose between the total privacy of self catering and no servicing or can order freshly prepared meals to be delivered and request the servicing arrangements that meet their needs. Children are welcome. Special rates are offered for large groups, special occasions, children and pensioners (midweek). Two units are wheel chair friendly.
Mountain biking on single track trails, recreational cycling on farm roads, hiking on marked walking trails, game viewing, birding and canoeing.

Have stayed at Alden cottage twice and would probably choose it every time. Alden is an eco-cottage with everything you need for that ideal break. We love the big tree at the front and the peaceful dam that you have all to yourself. The first time we went specifically to try out the rock climbing but it just doesn't get enough traffic for it to be 100% enjoyable. The hiking makes up for it though and just the entire property in general. On the second trip we took our 'Uber city friends' and we had fun giggling at them complaining about bugs and a beautiful snake that we saw outside. They had fun on the bike trails and viewing animals from their car. They really enjoyed their time at Lindani as well. Thanks to the owner for making sure we were comfy both times! See you again sometime!
Stayed at Alden Cottage with our dog and everything was spot on, just bring food and drink they have thought of everything else! Would highly recommend and cannot wait to go back! Walkability: Great hiking trails
Quick get away to a secluded hide away in nature. Great facilities at chosen accommodation that you actually dont need to travel anywhere but you do have the option to go for a walk or mtb if you wanted to. Refreshed after a few days in nature. Will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at Lindani Lodge in Thabeng Cottage , one of the 2 bedroomed units on the property.The cottage was tastefully decorated and fully equipped for a self catering stay, including a well equipped kitchen, swimming pool and boma, and complete off-grid power supply. Not having to worry about load shedding for four days was great and added to the overall experience. We ordered a meal from Lindani's on-site kitchen which was delivered to our cottage the evening we arrived. The bobotie and salad we ordered was well prepared and good value for money. Lindani is great for hiking and mountain biking, going on a self guided game drive, or just plain relaxing. For those addicted to their digital fix, there is good quality, fast wi-fi to keep you connected. All in all, a great destination, highly recommended!
Lindani was an absolute gem of a find. It is fantastic that you can go for walks amongst the wildlife. The house we stayed in was beautiful. The outdoor shower was a plus. Not much interaction with others, felt secluded in a good way. But if something was needed, the staff were there to help. Will definitely visit repeatedly. Thank you.

If you love spending time in the bush, seeing more animals than people and you like to be comfortable with your own swimming pool and home away from home, Lindani is pure perfection. And their home made farm style bread is to die for. You can also order a picnic basket with lots of nice goodies to surprise your partner at any of the picnic spots on the farm. And, best of all, their prices are quite reasonable. Very good value for money. We stayed in Maroela cottage, which is great for a couple or small family.

What an amazing place! The staff are unbelievably friendly and professional, the facilities are beautiful ,well equipped and very neat and clean. Apart from the spaciousness of the accommodation, the landscape is breathtaking. Activities are plentiful and for the whole family. Looking forward to our next visit!
