Don't touch Lisabank when thinking of purchasing a used car. I was interested in a vehicle a the salesman told me to put down a deposit of R2000 to secure the vehicle for a period of 3 days. He committed in writing that if I no longer want the vehicle, the deposit would be refunded in 48 hours, and an admin fee of R300 would be charged, so that the refunded amount amount would be R1700. I have written proof of this. The refund was not done within 48 hours. I had to fight tooth and nail and eventually they only refunded a fraction of the amount promised. When I queried this they claimed that head office had hiked the admin fee and the salesman in question was not aware thereof. As I say I have it in writing, so this is a breach of contract. I as the customer should not be prejudiced because of an internal miscommunication between the sales and finance people. I will fight this on principle and have already reported this to the motor industry ombudsman. This is just another underhand tactic of these car dealers to defraud the innocent public of their hard earned cash. I see on HelloPeter that I am not the only one complaining of not receiving the deposit back. Be very, very careful

What a dealership! I must say that I'm impressed with the service. Applied for finance on a Thursday and picking my car up on Saturday! Although they are busy with renovations the sales floor is very neat and tidy. Very good sales service from Tiro!

I would give Lisabank zero stars if I could. They sold us a car with serious problems which they hid from us. It died just a month after we purchased it. They are dishonest. They are crooks. The manager is rude. Be very careful! I don't want you to have the same experience we did.

This lisabank it has a scam knowledge,I bought a car to this dealership,car was R109 000 then I deposited it by R40 000...my monthly installment was very high like I didn't even pay deposit...then I took my time investigating...at the end I discovered that lisabank they have a deal with policies that I think they share some percentage. They will add some many useless policy that you can't even use into you profile that will make you installment to be high. I did try to cancel it,I discover that lisabank they took that money from the bank that will approve you finance.so in order to cancel it,lisabank has to pay you finance bank back their money so that they can able to cancel it. Lisabank can't refund you money back,you will be ignored. If you bought you car from this dealer,call you finance bank and ask policy that are in you profile that you are paying for..you will find that you have almost 4 to 5 policy that you are paying unaware...that total cost it is almost R900 per months. I have been fighting for this for almost 4 months. I was busy with this lady who called brilliant,sort of manager. She will just tell you to sign here and here,and here,don't worry everything it is you benefits,no addition into you installment,all is included. I always feel sick when seeing lisabank. All people be aware of that when thinking of going to buy a car to this dealer. Or you better go to a better fair dealer. Even my friend he has the same problem that I'm facing, This people are just proffessional scammers Also check complains from all their clients on their Facebook page.

Honesty must exist, made a 45kms trip to find a car that was discounted cause its in terrible condition...Since this car was under 50k, I asked if there was anything that needed attention and it was said nothing..... but on inspection, a cracked glass roof, accident damage, gearbox problem and very poor interior quality.

The car they sold me broke down 30 minutes after i took possession, they fixed it and after second delivery it broke down again 30 minutes later. After months of arguments, lawyers letters and court threats they finally agreed to keep the car but gave my deposit back 20 000 rands short. Claimed I did not return the car in its original condition.. that car went back the way i got it, broken and i'm going to do what it takes to get my money back. Even if i have to spend every cent i have, companies like this should not be allowed to get away with taking advantage of people. Motor ombudsman, lawyers, courts... The whole nine yards.

I was here on Friday GM promised to give me a call on Saturday she never did I called twice making a follow up she was not available and the receptionist couldn't give me her alternative number, I think she forgot she made a promise to follow up on my case. I was finally responded to by the GM she was so Rudy to me.

The before sale service is great just to get you to buy from them but the after service is the worst. Lisabank wont take the vehicle back. The vehicle I bought was sold to me under false pretences and also the advert was misleading. It was said the vehicle is in a very good condition, all the Lisabank vehicles are well maintained and double checked for issues..... guess what, the vehicle was in a major accident so I was told by the manufacturer self and also by a second opinion. Apparently a major accident because the vehicle didnt even have any airbags, insurers write a vehicle off once a vehicle cost 1/3 of its price to repair or even if the airbags needs to be replaced. The diagnostic machine at the manufacturer printed so many errors that they themselves doesn't even want to fix the vehicle.

Lisabank is the worst place to do business with...we purchased a Bakkie more than 3 weeks ago there was a oil leak that needed to be fixed everyday they would say we can get the vechile tomorrow but we still didn't get the Bakkie,They never phone back to let you know what's going on we keep phoning with no answer. Bongani & Peter from the Wynberg branch keeps on avoiding calls that you make to them. Before service wasn't to bad but after service & getting back to you as a customer that sucks....this was the last time I would buy a vechile through them. One can't really complained about service cause there isn't any.

I was told by one of your salesmen, to come to view and test drive a VW Touareg TDI selling for R139,990-00 at your Wynberg branch. When I got there, the SUV was not at the Wynberg branch, but, at your Kempton Park branch instead! I drove all the way from Protea Mall to Lisa Cars Wynberg, 48 kilometres, +/- 50 minutes drive, to buy a car which was not even there! Poor customer service.
