Mangwanani River Valley Spa

Amazing place with well experienced & skillful therapists. Nomakhaya took good care of me. Mangwanani Cullinan will always be my go to place whenever I’m in Cape Town.

The setup is acceptable for a hotel like the Cullinan and my full body massage was lovely. My husband however went for a foot massage and unfortunately his therapist seemed tired and smelled of alcohol and the massage that he got was weak when he asked for a deep massage. We indicated this to the manager and she gave us a R50 discount. However this is still absolutely unacceptable from a well renouned spa like Mangwanani. We also emailed Mangwanani with our experience but received no response from them. We frequent Mangwanani spas in Johannesburg and Durban all the time and this was truly out of character and unexpected from them.

I called for a spa treatment and they were able to squeeze me in within 30 min, which never happens at most spas. The service and treatment received was great and worth the money spent. 2 hours flew by. The spa itself is also very clean and beautiful. I will be back.

Friendly and informative staff. Two ladies masseuse were absolutely amazing, walked out feeling like jello. Highly recommend.

Made an appointment for 17h00, arrived on time. Was told no one is available, first availability is at 18h30. What is the point of making appointments if Mangwanani does a first come first serve basis. The lady at the front desk did not even apologize for this, just told a lot of people have been saying they have 17h00 appointments. Such poor poor service

Had the best time here! Super accommodating and professional. Nyameka provided me with an excellent full body massage and I’m convinced I need to return for more of their services.

Located inside the Cullinan. Massage therapists are lovely but the overall day spa experience is severally lacking. The ambiance and lighting is off, I could hear children screaming while jumping into the pool that the spa is facing which took away from the relaxing experience. We first had a lovely couples massage however the room is tiny, no airflow, music is all over the place and loud. The therapists were knowledgeable. The chairs you sit in while getting your foot massage are uncomfortable. At the end of the day spa, we skipped lunch and wanted to go home. I have had better experiences at other spas.
