Mangwanani Spa Winelands

The beautiful scenery and deco topped with tantalizing meals. I loved the tranquility, and the staff were super awesome. They definitely know what they are doing. Thank you for the exceptional service you guy delivered. It was definitely more than we paid for. Your staff made us feel at home, and they even had a laugh with us when we had a moment of laughter. The ending of our 3-hour session ended with an exotic meal and traditional music that they conducted themselves. They were cheerful and vocal, then leading us to our final head massage, and off we went home. I had so much to tell, but one thing foreshore.....u will definitely recommend this place and absolutely coming back.

Horrible experience at the Mangwanani Winelands. Everything is falling apart in the building. Stains on the gowns, holes in the towels, no shower gel in the bathrooms to shower afterwards. The rooms are absolutely freezing cold. There are tiny gas heaters which don’t do anything. Staff are talking and laughing throughout every treatment. You cannot relax at all. Treatment rooms are way too public, no privacy whatsoever. Money wasted here, would not recommended it to anyone.

I went for a full day spa, the experience was great! The food was nice and the live performance was awesome. I just wish that they were also playing music at where you do your full body and I wish they had more privacy that side. It would have been nice for them to have a jacuzzi. Other than that, I had a blast!

I booked the half a day experience for 4 ladies. We were so excited as one of the ladies had a birthday. When we arrived, no one explained to us what would happen, we were told to sit on the table then 1 minute later another lady came to tell us to go change. The ladies changing room was quite shocking to say the least, no privacy, no lights, not enough space to put our stuff so, the lady offered to put it in their office which was kind of her. 2 of the bathrooms were out of order. We went to sit back at our table and the chicken roti was served. Wrong orders for drinks. During the lunch service, we tried so hard to ask questions and find out how the half day experience works but we got ignored numerous times. One of the ladies eventually came and started explaining in IsiXhosa and we told her that we don't speak, her whole persona changed as she brushed through the unclear program. I had asked and paid for a birthday set up for my sister which looked beautiful. We got into our treatment rooms and the towels were dirty with oils on them should have taken a pic. The fact that we do not speak IsiXhosa did not sit well with Mangwanani staff, so much tribalism. So many times we had to say we didn't understand what they were saying there are 11 official languages in the country, come on! During treatment, NANDIPHA did my full body and her colleague kept on whispering and talking to each other through out the entire session, I mean it defeats the whole point of going to a spa to relax? After we were done with the body massage, we went back to our table then we were directed to go for the feet, we sat down, then another lady came talking to the feet ladies instructing that we have to go for the neck, head & shoulder instead they were speaking to each other so loud, its a spa for goodness sake. The neck and shoulder by BUSI and the ladies was amazing, everyone quite enjoyed that. Eventually we did the feet, NZWAKI and the ladies were super friendly and did an amazing job. I must commend on one lady who was all smiles to every client from the moment we walked in till we left, NOMVUYISO,she is a gem. The 3 stars are for the location, birthday set up and the friendliness of the feet ladies. Most of the staff do not like the idea of a black person speaking to them in English, not sure if it's a cultural thing but we felt very unwelcomed, honestly. I went to the coffee stand, they just looked at me felt like I was at the wrong place, I ordered the coffee and asked for sugar that was behind the coffee stand lady, she responded "go get at your table" dismissively...just wow! The place lacked tranquility, it was chaotic, so unorganized and poor communication. Infrastructure needs a lot of work, no lighting, the rooms have a mere sheer curtain one of the rods fell during treatment, bathrooms do not work, it's dirty, ugh it's just a mess. It's not worth the price. Oh and to top it all off, NANDIPHA came to demand a tip when we were leaving!

Nice place . lovely staff and hostess!! Did a full spa day was amazing, lunch was great!!! Atmosphere relaxing next to the fire place on the breaks.. Only off side.....take the shuttle if you do not have a 4 x 4...don't attempt to take your own vehicle , if it not high or 4 x 4 don't damage your car ...the road up is horrible and no one when booking warned us about the bad condition of the road. Took us 20min to get there.... ...... ....... make a plan with the condition of the road ...you have the machines to do the job on the farm!!!!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable spa experience with amazing views, look no further than this spa at the Winelands branch. The hot stone massage transports you to a place of wonders and I would highly recommend masseuse Pinky for a foot and leg massage & masseuse Roos for a relaxing scalp and shoulders massage. 10/10

Excellent treatments and staff very friendly. Was there for a full day. Breakfast was not great. Fruit salad was Kiwi and apple - not fresh. Got a dry scone and muffin with only butter. Granola, yoghurt and honey was fine. Lunch we had butterchicken and rice. Tasty, but an option for salad would be better. Drinks available all day and service was excellent. No time to use Jacuzzi. Place do need some attention, but they are busy with renovations. Wish they would enforce NO Cellphones during treatments. I think it is disrespectful to the staff as well as fellow spa clients.

For a Spa lover on a budget this is a dream come true. The experience is quite good without putting a huge dent in your pocket. Of course you cannot expect a vip treatment, but then again this is not why you are here, you are here for the spa and they deliver on the experience as a whole. Food and beverage is on par we had breakfast and lunch, although I would have loved to have basic condiments like salt and pepper on the table for lunch. Facilities including change rooms are a bit dated, would love to see them upgraded. Staff is very friendly and delightful.

Looks ways better than what it looked like when I last visited 3 years ago. They need to work on the noise levels though and maybe consider offering meal options. Rather pack some snacks if you go for the day spa. We had to find a nearby restaurant to complete the amazing spa experience with a wholesome meal. There's a room for improvement
