Dr Barlin is the nicest man , I last saw him 22 years ago when he performed a right acromioplasty on me. He is still that wonderful person I remember , his bedside manner is wonderful. He is kind and gentle. He takes the time to explain what is happening so that his patient is aware. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an orthopaedic surgeon.
I have been a patient of dr Barlin since the late nineties. A very empathetic, organized, attends to details, knowledgeable and highly professional doctor. He will go to an extent of writing and sending medical progress reports to my family physician. That's how dedicated he is to his work. Colin is the most AMAZING, CARING, FEELING and helpful doctor, he is an absolute "MENSCH" as well as being a knowledgeable, reputable and sort after orthopedic surgeon. He treats his patients with kindness and respect and selflessly gives of himself and his time.
The man takes his time and thinks. I remember him taking really thorough notes and asking me a LOT of questions. Isn't very quick to pull out a diagnosis but takes his time to think really hard. Also seems very humble but most definitely very caring. I remember my medical aid refused to pay for my consultation and I paid for it after I was done. When I got home I received an email from his office saying he's charged me only medical rates and reimbursed me the rest. Which was almost half or more if what I originally paid.
Got treated my Dr Barlin, he is a kinda and very knowledgeable doctor, he sent me for rehab before he decided to do a surgery, I'm recovering well with no issues. Thanks Dr Barlinr
