Metro Gym

I'd like to address this review to the owner of this company. When we signed up, we were given a prospectus which detailed various phases of development with deadlines for each new development. We were told that we'd have a swimming pool, cross-fit course, some kind of sports arena and a sauna. My wife and I signed up thinking that our expectations would be met. Months went by and nothing happened, the deadlines passed and all we got were excuses from management. Blaming the municipality, etc. The worst part of this deal was that even if we wanted to leave, we would be forced to pay a fee to terminate the contract. The question here is why should we be penalized for your inability to fulfill what you said you would when we signed the contract? To this day, the only development is some kind of a foundation that was laid and that's it. There's nothing else that has changed. As soon as my contract period ends, I'm taking my business elsewhere. I'm sure many others will do likewise.

Why are you not open on Saturday and Sundays? Why do I even pay you? We should get a discount on our R400/Month. Virgin Active or any other gym is open on weekends. Its not hard to pay someone to unlock and lockup. Hunters Retreat Metro. The locker room looks degusting and I feel like I am being ripped off. The studio looks tattered and the sound system looks bad. There isn't a projector in the spin class, projectors arent that expensive come one and I haven't seen one aircon in the whole building only fans that switch off during load shedding so bring a car battery and a fan with you. Also the music al mixes together from the gym and studio and sounds so confusing and like a madhouse. ZERO STARS

This is home, nothing fancy but hard iron. Subscriptions are dope and for an extra R100 you become a VIP member and can train at any of the other branches. Worth every cent

Wow.. This place is awesome,lovely, Saturday the 12th March was my third day to attend the gym but already I'm experiencing a great change. I'm fit, I recommend Metro Gym.

Really stuffed. I wish the layout was somehow different. The staff barely attended to me, they enjoy talking among themselves. I was not impressed at all. Sadly its the only gym around here and I am a durbanite

Some equipments are worn out so you can't tell how much weight you're choosing but, pretty much every equipment you need at the gym is available.

The environment within the gym is so good and it encourages you to keep on going they even offer classes during the even which i find it very intresting.
