Mount Zion

Lovely chalet..neat and clean..close to the water for continuous fishing or just sitting next to the calm river and enjoying every minute of it. Owners very friendly and accommodating..Will most definately go camping there again! Anytime..

The place was clean but the bed we slept on wasn't great at all. Mattress needs changing. The house was fully equipped and comfortable. Only drawback is there isn't shower - only a bath - I prefer a shower. But we had a good time and will go again.

What a wonderful get away. The trees, river and hills offer a peace that's indescribable. It also means not much network coverage. NOT a bad thing when trying to get away from it all. Hospitality is of top notch. With regular visits from the owner in the morning and evening to.check on your ice and firewood supply. The accommodation was very clean, neat and the kitchen has everything you need. It really is a home from home. Loved every minute and look forward to our next visit.

Great breakaway weekend with only the sounds of birds and water flowing down the vaal river as it is in flood due to heavy rains in the area.

Fantastic service and farm atmosphere next to the Vaal river. Exceptional carp and yellowfish fishing. Great for fly, conventional and fly fishing! Family orientated!
