The worst MTN store. The staff don't care. The sales consultants busy on their phones all the time. It's terrible to come here. Cancelled my contract which I came to upgrade because of it.
Very nice and clean store, staff is supper friend and efficient. Was able to quickly get all necessary information and upgrade our contracts without any delay. Thank you Janelle for your excellent and professional service.
I went in after receiving an email that I could upgrade my cellphone. The person who assisted me was argumentative, not willing to listen, and informing me that I wasn't listening. Staff needs to be trained on customer care. I wasn't applying for the phone on a personal basis but under a company. Had the agent listened as opposed to arguing with me, it would have saved time. Furthermore, I was requested to bring documents,which I should have been informed of on the upgrade email to save time. Immediately, when you send the email informing the client they can upgrade, inform them of what documents are required to avoid unnecessary delays. The whole process is tedious, and the approach from the staff frustrating.
I'm disappointed to that the service at this store is pretty poor. I've been waiting for almost two weeks for my devices to arrive with no communication from the sales assistants. It's not possible to reach the store either so I need to drive there to get an update, which is a lot of effort out of my day with parking costs etc. The sales staff also don't know what the current promotions are and I get the feeling I'll be missing out on free stuff that is advertised on the brochure when they eventually get stock.
Shocking service. I applied for a data package. There was a system problem so there consultant promised to get it sorted out a little later or the the following morning. She promised to call me to keep me updated. The following day I was back inner area & visited there branch. Nothing has progressed other than notes I was informed itt would take 48 hours. 4 days later I received a message welcoming me to MTN. I again visited branch too need informed the message was a mistake. Nothing had progressed. Nothing was done to help other than too make me wait again. No phone calls add promised too update need. Just excuses. Avoid.
Horrible experience. A fraudulent contract was opened in the shop by one of the employees, I then started seeing debit orders on my account. Made numerous attempts to get assistance from store manager and sent through to mtn complaints with no assistance. Now they’ve taken that account to vericred of which I have been harassed and when you call Vericred, shocking customer service. It’s been over a year trying to resolve this but Marvin and his team Don seem to understand the seriousness of this issue.
Extremely incompetent; rude; terrible stock and terrible communication. Rather go to 14th avenue. After 5 hours of trying to get onto a phone contract this arrogant employer told me to go to 14th avenue and I voiced that I understand that, although the bad communication is frustrating. My dad continued to ask why we need to go there and this employer of Cresta MTN told him “I’ll be with you now sir, I am first addressing this WOMAN’S ANGER.” Completely unacceptable to speak to a customer like that! The staff needs urgent investigation and replacement because anyone with that job title who treats another human being like that does not deserve that job.
I went to enquire regarding two of my mtn contracts to one of the employees, I was repeatedly told in a very rude manner that I should call a certain number if I needed help by miss/ Mrs thuli mokolo I might have her name wrong , I had to constantly ask her to repeat what she was saying because she was speaking so fast, and when I asked her to speak slowly so I could understand her better she had the audacity to make fun of me by trying to speak/ mimic my way of speaking in a rude way, she also mentioned that why does she have to speak slower for me, the customer, my concern is that do all mtn employees not go for soft skills training or any customer service training because it seemed like she had none of those, I was disappointed and disgusting by the attitude and service that I received, I then went to another branch of mtn In cresta where I got all the help that I needed, and the funny thing is that the lady at the first branch wasn’t even busy I would have understood if she was busy and hence why she would ask me to call customer support but I was the only customer there and even then the service was terrible, all she was apparently taught was to refer customers to customer support, when the branch that’s next to pick and pay went out of their way to help me, I really do think that miss thuli mokolo needs some soft skills training or atleast a warning on behaviour correction as her attitude was poor, and for the cherry on top their complaints department doesn’t do anything about complaints all they do is send you an automated response via email.
The service honestly needs to improve at this branch. Gave us the runaround to activate a sim card and just to transfer data took well over an hour and the store was empty. Although the staff is honestly helpful and approachable I think the technology and systems are terrible, as staff rely on the system to provide excellent service.
Doing sim swop, wrong number was swopped. Took forever still not resolve. Now have yo eait 48hours for them to resolve the line they incorrectluly swoped out. Staff not friendly at all.
