Phenomenal location, attentive and welcoming staff members. The management team, Kate and Hanro made every effort to ensure we have the best possible experience. The food was good and the spa treatments enjoyable. Certainly one to return to in future! Rooms: Beautiful view from the bathroom. Well stocked mini bar. Coffee service to the room early in the mornings before the game drive is a great touch. Amenities Healing Earth are fantastic. Walkability: Easy access to the main lodge area from the rooms in the day walk with focus as you may encounter an animal. You must be accompanied by a staff member when walking at night, which is very comforting and a great value add for safety. Food & drinks: Variety of wines, beers, and spirits. The food was good. Chef Mabula made the effort to check with us on whether we enjoyed each meal. Noteworthy details: The game drives can be very cold in the early morning and early evening. Fortunately, the vehicle is well stocked with ponchos and hot water bottles. There is much attention to detail on ensuring a memorable experience. The guide, Hanro, is knowledgeable, adventurous, and very well trained.
The place was really nice. People were friendly. The only thing you're in your room at night time is that you could not contact anyone if needed anything or cancelling a morning game drive. You couldn't walk around the place as the animals are roaming around and are not safe, but you can become bored when not out in the game drive. But the place is nice to stay but only for 2 nights. The food was very nice and you got a lot of it.
What an experience. From staff greeting you when you arrive, to stunning rooms, to amazing game viewing, to delectable food and loads of it! We will definitely be back. Thank you to Hanro and Kate as well as the owners for an out of this world experienceRooms: 5/5
Hi Nedile-Team We were at the lodge in July 2022. It was great. The food, the rooms, the facilities, the staff, just fabulous. I have not eaten better anywhere in South Africa. The safaris were also great and the guides are very knowledgeable. We thank you very much for the wonderful time and hope to come back soon. Best regards from Switzerland Caner and Gamze KORHAN
Dear John, Dominique and staff, Last November 2021 we were privileged to stay at the Nedile Lodge. It was our first ever Safari and it couldn't have been any better. The staff all together were more then amazing. The game's were truly magnificent, thanks to you John. Dominique you were a amazing hostess who made sure we had the best time we could've had. And of course we cannot forget the remainder of the staff. It was perfectly clean, the food was top notch and how friendly everyone was, you could feel it wasn't staged or just done for work. It was genuinly amazing. The chefs I want to thank in particular for myself, I have to eat gluten free due to Celiac disease. At first it was 'scary', but that feeling was taken away quickly. The food was amazing. Again, we want to thank you for your time and professionalism. We hope to see you again in the future when we go back. Lotte & Mick
Good very nice food
Our first luxury safari stay in Africa, and it was amazing! So romantic, the service is very personal and exclusive. They brought us a bottle of champagne and flowers to our cosy room, put the fire on because it was our honeymoon. Shower outside, bathtub with a view, coffee service in the morning at bed and awesome game drives. Hanro was the best guide and funny : The food was very fresh and the kitchen and general staff team was so friendly. We had such a nice experience, thanks guys. Definitely coming back and highly recommended!!
Wow what a peaceful place. Best view and friendly staff. The food was fantasticRooms: 5/5
Absolutely fantastic experience! Staff is so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Brilliant service, amazing food, and we couldn't think of a single complaint even if we tried. Barend and John really made the game drives something special. Would definitely go back, and highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a truly memorable experience in the bush.
Staff are amazing, they are happy to make you comfortable. Rangers are delightful. Some of the areas were renovated during lockdown, lovely decking and pool area Meals are a treat, generous servings. Expect South African hospitality. Beds are a little firm, but the staff made a plan to soften the bed for me. Spectacular views
