Service at this establishment is exceptional. Treated friendly a d professionally. The hospital is clean and tidy. The doctors are some of the best we have in the country. I would definitely recommend this hospital for a big operation.
The Trauma ICU and High care wards and staff are absolutely brilliant. The nurses are lovely, kind and compassionate towards the patients and loved ones. The doctors and the facilities are fantastic, all the way down to the coffee shop. If you or a loved one ends up here you are in good hands. I am eternally grateful to the nursing staff, especially Trauma high care for taking such well care of my husband during these last few weeks, not forgetting the doctors and specialists. We are eternally grateful.
The worst private hospital I've ever been to. Staff is unfriendly and they don't discuss the patients' conditions in private with them. If you go there as a visitor, you'll hear their discussions with patients and even get to see other patients being attended to without closing curtains from other people. Do not take your sick loved ones to Milpark Netcare
Great experience, waited a bit long in the emergency room. However after that it was a great and efficient experience. The Doctor was clear, the nurses were friendly as well helpful.
Waiting for more than 1.5 hours to be admitted for surgery. Dr has been to the Admissions twice asking to speed up the process. The excuse is there are no beds available. This is impossible. This is a world class hospital advertising everywhere it new Electronic Medical system, clearly not on the bed allocation...
If I could give it zero stars I would. Casualty is absolutely pathetic, you can understand there is a waiting time, however on the 15th November 2022 my aunt went into Casualty at 16h19 three hours later my elderly aunty with 30% of her kidneys functioning was still waiting for a Dr to see her. Another patient came In was extremly ill and was left to lie on a chair in the waiting room after not being able to hold her bladder, there was no nurse coming to her aid. Absolutely disgusting service considering it is a private hospital
The emergency staff are friendly, efficient & knowledgeable we’ve been there often enough over the years, so I speak from experience. The rest of the hospital where we’ve had experience too, is well run & well above first world averages.
My daughter, Elani Schoeman, received the best care from Milpark. Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you to the trauma unit who was professional and warm hearted. Words can't describe my appreciation towards you.
Our 17 year old daughter has just spent 2 weeks in the Netcare Milpark Hospital in Parktown, Johannesburg. Twice in ICU, once after a broncoscopy and once after a pneumonectomy. Despite the feelings of utter anguish and total despair her father and I have gone through these past 14 days, I have also never felt prouder of being a South African. We experienced so much kindness and care from world class medical staff. Nurses, porters and doctors. People who make South Africa great, who just get on with the job despite the politics and mayhem that so often seem to be the only things that define our chaotic country. I am in awe of doctors who do their hospital rounds very early in the morning, go to their rooms to see outside patients and then return to the hospital wards at night for a last check up on their patients. All of this done in a jovial and genuinely kind and caring manner. The level of care, expertise and kindness we experienced from the nursing staff and physicians at this facility helped us cope under very dire circumstances. To the physicians who gave her another chance, prof. Ahmed Solomon rheumatoligist, Dr. Hussein Pahad pulmonologist and Dr. Muhammad Farooq cardiothoracic surgeon and his team our hearts are filled with sincere gratitude and admiration. Thank you. Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff, service and facilities were exceptional. I was in the East Wing Section 9 and a huge shoutout to Emelda who always managed to put a smile on my face!
