Husband was in for a sinus surgery in the Topaz ward this week. I must say, this hospital is amazing. Friendly staff, from the security to reception to the nurses and other staff. Discharge was also super quick, did not have to wait hours! The only issues was that I did not receive updates while my husband was in surgery, we even signed up for the Whatsapp updates, never received any. Also, not enough chairs for family in the ward we were in.
Had a minor surgical procedure and was in Topaz ward. Amazing nursing and catering staff. Great doctors too. Very grateful for awesome care - especially the nurse who called me from her own phone to tell me I'd left my keys behind then waited outside the entrance to give them to me.
The noise outside my room in the ruby ward which is a private room is honestly ridiculous. I realise that I am close to the reception but you cannot get rest when the nursing staff are shouting at each other. They are kind nurses but it's 10pm and the noise is unplayable. Please can this be discussed with the sister in charge. It's not fair to the patients. This has been like this the entire day!
I stayed in the Topaz ward after a surgical procedure, all the nurses were extremely caring and knowledgable about their job. They all looked after me so well and the hospital was clean and hygienic at all times , it was truly a good experience .
My experience at NETCARE Rosebank hospital was just beyond a brilliant experience.I felt at ease and in safe hands from the time I entered the hospital, the nurses, doctors and paramedic staff immediately gave me their 100% attention from the onset. Professionalism, humbleness and human touch exceeded my expectations by far. Well done NETCARE, you guys do an awesome job each day. Desigan
The most useless hospital service I’ve ever received. 6 hours wait to get a simple blood test while my mother in law is busy having seizures. No care for her and no thought as to how to help her. Moreover the communication between doctors and nurses couldn’t have been poorer. Doctor says we need an ECG but omits to let you he nurse know. Doctor merely prescribes anti-anxiety medicine and sends my mother in law away without actually attempting to help her. Please do not go here if you’re in an emergency, you will wait 6 hours for any help, and when you receive the help no effort will be into actually trying to rid you of your ailments. The first thing they did was check the blood pressure which was extremely high. Doctor did absolutely nothing to help the blood pressure. Can’t even begin to fathom how a doctor could have such little care for a patient that he would send her away with no help or guidance and then demand payment. Disgusting service
My sister was admitted here. Nurses are unhelpful, arrogant and do not do there jobs properly. When ever we ask for help they simply just ignore us
Waited 6 hours for a doctor to do a simple blood test and ECG to discover absolutely nothing. My mother in law has cancer but the doctor couldn’t care less and still made her wait the longest time for no help, and then charge her. What any other government hospital doctor could do in 30 minutes and then provide help, this doctor did in 6 hours without the help. Appalling!
After paying a great docter R2000, the parking machine doesn't take cards. When you press the help button the person tells you to "find an ATM". Pay for parking!?
The overall standards have improved significantly since my last visit 18 months ago. Everyone is polite, helpful, enquiring and seemingly wanting to make you feel better. This was from admissions to the ward nurses and sisters, cleaning staff to catering and porters. Some significant intervention has happened at the hospital. The test is to maintain these levels - will see on my next visit!
