Nino's Rivonia

Nice food, lovely ambience, pleasant staff. All in all perfect Sunday lunch with this new drink orange, pineapple and rosemary drink. Few things we wanted to order from menu were not available hence 4 stars otherwise it's five .

Such delicious food and well prepared. Beautiful outside area - amazing!

Service: 0.5/5 Food: 1.5/5 We arrived here at 13:30 and the restaurant closes at 16:00. We got stared and glared at by the waitresses outside when we asked for a table for 2. Our waitress was unhelpful, unfriendly and just seemed so angry at us for being there. We don't even know her name because she never introduced herself or had a name tag. I ordered a toasted chicken mayo and a hot chocolate, and my boyfriend ordered the Mexican chicken flat bread with a cuppuccino. When our drinks arrived, they were undrinkable because of how hot they were. Later when our food arrived, it was ice cold and I maybe had a total of 6 chips on my plate. I didn't say anything about the chips but I complained about how cold the food was - our waitress said nothing and just took the food back and warmed it up There was another woman who had complained about her food and the manager was so defensive and was arguing with the lady. When she left, the manager stood outside the restaurant loudly making fun of the woman with the waitresses. It's nice to know how seriously ninos management takes customer complaints. Never going back there, your food is over priced and the service is shocking. Thanks but no thanks.

Piss poor service. Arrive at 10h00 not a single clean table outside. Staff having a social outside not phased by the state of the floor. Non existent manager presence. Ordered a tall Americano with cold milk in a Takeaway cup. First coffee arrives with no lid, waiter returns... then the milk is hot... waiter returns... no sweetener anywhere outside... waiter returns with a sigh. I feel the same way about your service.... sigh.

Visited Nino's and found the standard of service and quality of food great. Coszy and relaxing environment with a great variety of breakfast options. Could very easily become a regular. Keep it up guys!

@ninosrivonia has a new mascot.... the cup and saucer...that's how the cappuccino was served which we excused until we found a very visible strand of hair cooked in my omelette...The Manager said and I quote "yes I do see its a strand of hair but maybe is from the mushroom...." The very much alive cockroach was on the glass and very visible to anyone who walked that way yet no one thought to get rid of it... Definitely would not be eating there again.

While i generally love a Nino's and have never had bad food or service at any of the stores, Rivonia's service was very much lacking. Lucky the gentleman who seated me was very helpful and friendly. But Rose got barely 10% tip instead of the possible 50% i would usually give for good food and service of i am only having coffee and a light bite. After getting my cappuccino and slice of cake, she was never to be seem again. I would have liked another cup of coffee, but was unable to get anyone's attention, so gave up after 10 or 15 mins and just continued with my work. More than an hour after i last saw her, i had to get up, take my left overs to the till and there ask for the bill and takeaway. If i hadn't been a waiter myself i would not have given any tip, as the service did not in amy way warrant any reward. But she did miss out on an additional 40% she could have earned had she bothered to check up on me once or twice. Serious waiter training needed!

On Saturday we popped in at the store in Rivonia for breakfast. Other patrons at the table next to us were smoking. This was brought to the attention of the waitress who just shrugged her shoulders. The matter was also taken up with the manager who tried to explain the matter away with very lame excuses. The food was good but the experience was unpleasant as my wife is asthmatic and it affected her chest.

Food came cold, service was really not great and side portions are way too small for the price you pay. Would not recommend for anything other than coffee.

Nice place for a coffee or a quick meal. Food pretty nice and good service. Reasonably priced. Go there often for breakfast never disappointed. Not bad coffee.
