Oaklands Country Manor

We went to Oaklands for a team breakaway session & had an amazing time! Very well looked after by the staff, food was amazing, views from location were incredible & accommodation was world class. I cannot recommend this venue enough.Rooms: 5/5

What a stunning place Oakland’s is! I have been going there for 8 years and it never gets old! The food is absolutely stunning and there is always so much variety from deep fried Oreos to luscious main meals. The room service is fantastic. Always so clean and so personalized . The vibe there is always so friendly. Oakland’s also backs onto a magnificent farm where you can go riding on amazing trail rides or play polo on their outstanding polo field. Always an amazing experience to go there. Would definitely recommend going here. One place to put on your bucket list !

The hosts are amazing, super friendly and welcoming and helpful, the staff are great too and everyone so friendly! The place offers hope and beauty, comfort and reminds me of what matters in life... Not only are the people authentic but the food, herbal elixirs, tonics and ambiente and what they stand for the real deal! This is the perfect break for nature and hike lover

Oakland’s is a small piece of heaven on earth. There are so many things that combine to make Oaklands such a wonderful place. The grounds are stunning with loads of space, horse riding and running trails. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and beds are very comfy. The Tully’s who run Oaklands are great fun. One of my favorite things about Oakland’s is the food. Every meal is incredible and so full of taste, it’s amazing what Kathy and he kitchen staff turn out daily. Oakland’s is one of those places I will always go back to.

We had a wonderful time. I liked it that we could just be us. Never had such good and tasty food as at this establishment. Well done!!

What a fabulous experience!! 8 friends enjoying a fabulous birthday celebration for 3 awesome days. The food was outstanding - every course of every meal. The owners are fabulous fun and very helpful. The staff, so obliging and friendly. A gem of a place!! Xx

Highly recommended this hidden gem! The food is outstanding, the guest houses are tastefully decorated and the family running the place is passionate about hospitality, food and locally sourced produce. We booked the whole place in 2016 for our wedding and keep going back.

Lovely county side accommodation and conferencing facility. Just 30 kilometers from Harrismith and few kilometers from the N3. The place is well maintained and warmly. Food is out of this world with varied options coupled with superb customer service. Hiking trails will take your breath away and you have many other activities to choice from. The rooms are warmly with all essentials to make your stay comfortable.

Take a sho't left at the van Reenen Caltex garage , go over the railway line and further down the road on the right hand side you will see the Oakland's Country Manor gate. The polo fields create a grand entrance. The Free State architecture is beautifully set off against the sandstone cliffs. The Hosts are incredibly warm and friendly and you feel at home instantly. They pride themselves on organic food and the menu is impressive. Drinks in the pub are healthy energy shots but my long island iced tea was perfect. The rooms are well appointed and are cosy even in mid winter.

Oakland's is a boutique hotel in van reenen is is located in a very beautiful part on the berg escarpment. Oakland's has a great food ethos and serves amazing quality. They are also unique in that they produce there own fermented gut help products. If you are feeling a bit run down pop in relax and leave feeling ready to take on the world
