Country Inn Guest House

Sies…the guest house was dirty. The shower was so dirty you could see it had not been cleaned for months. The towels were dirty and had blood. The bed makes noise when you sit on it or when turning. The flies in the room were non stop. Would nerved recommend it.

The place is good looking at it on the net ... as well when presented to you... my colleague had a problem with his room , the TV wasn't working and so were the plugs... the security tried to assist him shifting him from room to room to check for right plugs that ate working. Mine on the other hand the plugs were damaged to a point where plugging or charging is at your own risk.

Wow I really didn't expect the room was just a normal home outside. But inside it was a std room with everything a traveler need. I was impressed the fact that there was electric Blanket it was a cherry on top. Because Qwaqwa it is very cold winter or summer it is surrounded by Mountains including Drakensburg and Maluti. But Sisonke they understand the area and cater for it. I'm happy

Holy moly. I understand that tourism has been slow but Yikes. Let me start off by saying that the service by the receptionist and caretaker was excellent, they really went above and beyond to try and help. My first room had a tired mattress hard and lumpy, no working TV, a filthy shower floor with missing tiles. After complaining I was moved to another room with no working aircon or kettle, a literal drip from the sink tap so you couldn't use it, brown water from the bath tub tap and a slightly better mattress. Both rooms werent cleaned throughly as you could see dirt and dust on the floor, especially in the corners. Suffice to say, I couldn't bath. I didn't eat the food because it was inedible, cold and cooked hours in advance off premises, but after complaining loudly and asking to cancel my booking, I got a cash voucher for the second night's supper. There is no WiFi at the guest house and I'm not coming back or recommending the place. I hope that the owner does a thorough assesment and fixes the issues. The one star is for the stella staff.

After driving 450kms all I needed was a good rest and I got none of that at Sisonke guest house. Bed was squeaky and the mattress finished. The pillows are filthy and the shower floor you can see that it hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time. The food was cold and not appetising at all. For breakfast we were given a cold omelette without being asked whether we eat eggs or not and there was no hot beverages in the dining hall. . Bad experience indeed

Stayed with my husband in a room for work, we asked for a bigger room and asked to pay the difference but we were let down, on one day there was no water so we were late for work cause we needed to shower, the rooms are nice with the details but it’s the maintenance that’s aweful, some walls have cracks, the taps In the bathroom run the water slowly, needs paintwork. The breakfast is lovely and the WiFi is strong. Apparently it’s the only guest house In the area could improve a lot more, I would stay there again just based on it being the only place.

Got called that I forgot my house keys there, after checking out. Went back to collect them, the keys, and I appreciate that. Realised later that I forgot my Samsung charger as well.Would have given it a 5 star treatment had I been given the charger as well! Beautiful B&B with beautiful mountains around. I'd go back again should I visit. Meal prices are unreasonably high, Yhoo!!!

Good Place to visit at, it is very quiet and convenient for couples. You cannot expect much from the place . When I visited the place there were few challenges the 1st one was electricity, I think guest houses should have a generator in case there is load shedding, I cannot experience load shedding when I have paid to be a guest I think that is a moral obligation to the owners to get a generator. 2nd thing is that when we leave our homes we expect WiFi at the guest rooms, the WiFi was there credit to that but there is no one who was actually checking if it is really working because I spent a week there and it was not working. Besides these two things I had fun
