Clarens Country House

Fabulous location with breathtaking views from the windows. Wake up to the sound of 'Piet my Vrou' in the woods. Fantastic layout. An amazing fire place and heaters in all the areas. Equiped kitchen and outside braai facilities. Most serene gardens with abundant bird life. The attention to detail is world class. They had me with the cute milk jug in the fridge, filled with milk for your first coffee. The best place to stay when in Clarens and one of the best accommodations in SA.

What a beautiful, well situated guest house. The rooms are lovely, and very well set up. Dstv full bouquet of channels too. Secure, and really comfortable. The fire place is another plus point. I can definitely recommend this lovely guest house. The owners are super friendly, and very welcoming.

Great location. On the golf estate close to town, yet quite and private. Pefect place to stay with a 2-3 other families or couples, as everyone has their own space yet can join together in beautiful common spaces. Great service and lots of special personal touches. Simply the best in Clarens

One of our best places we stayed in South Africa. Ran by a couple. They will make you part of the family. Laundry service available on request. Very beautiful units with a big bedroom queen size bed, electric mattress and blanket for winter season, living area, kitchen very well equipped, shower and bathtub, a supply of shampoo, bubble bath, shower gel, towels and lotion in big quantities, sugar, coffee, tea and homemade cookies amazing. Close to a national park, walking distance to the Art town. We loved every bit of our stay here. Absolutely the place to stay in.

A beautiful room with breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding Clarens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room included not just a hotel-style bedroom, but a sitting room, kitchen, fridge, spacious bathroom, and a separate toilet room. There is plenty of parking and it is located right outside of Clarens off the main road.

Everything and everybody at The Clarens Country House is focused on giving guests the best possible experience of Clarens. The apartments are set-up and furnished to give guests that "home away from home" feeling and staff go the extra mile to ensure that guests have everything they need - including a sumptuous breakfast. A spotlessly clean, friendly and well organised establishment.

Very good amenities. Large space, and cosy fireplace with wood and firelighters. Full DSTV package, if you need TV. The only thing keeping it from five stars is the late breakfast time 7:30 earliest, but that is a small issue to have.

We had such a fantastic time at the Clarens Country House. The staff is super competent and so friendly, the flower garden to die for! We are definitely goiing back there next year!
