Hein ordered the Fish and Calamari combo with lemon butter sauce.  A big portion and absolutely delicious! I phoned them beforehand to ensure they had Whitebait ... a starter portion of fried Whitebait and what a big portion! - absolutely yummy!!!!!!!!!!  Side of crumbed Zucchini ... delicious!!! Bread rolls always good, service excellent and Hein's white wine was crisp and cold.

Never fails to impress. Superb food, fantastic staff, and comfortable atmosphere. Very affordable. Manager Dumi, goes above and beyond to accommodate our special needs. An all time favourite seafood restaurant. Frequent often.  Vegetarian options: A good variety.  Kid-friendliness: Great  Parking: Convenient

Thoroughly enjoyed dining at Ocean Basket Ferndale on Republic. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and professional. Special complements and thanks again to our smiley waitress Precious! She is awesome.

I have been eating at ocean basket  ferndale bright water from a long time. The food and service always on point. Staff to managers are incredible. Keep it up guys.

Lovely dinner had with Precious as our waiter. Didnt see a manager on the floor and my drinks weren't opened. Had to open myself -not that I mind but other patrons' drinks were opened by their serving waiters. Small gestures go a long way...

Was a bit of a slow start with no one attending to us, but Hector came to the rescue.  To be fair, they were also quite busy. Food came out quickly.  All very tasty.  Good portions and very reasonably priced.  Manager also did his rounds,  so all in all a very pleasant evening.Food: 4/5

First time visiting the newly renovated restaurant. Beautiful, clean and accommodating. Nice ample portions. Staff and management friendly. This will definitely be my new Ocean Basket. Well done for a wonderful experience.

Amazing. Almost all our ocean basket experiences have been amazing bar one which was a while ago opposite Cresta. We pointed out to the manager that the food was off and he said he knew about it and he offered to give us half off our disgusting meal of rotten fish.  Apart from that we have never had any issues there. The food is always amazing, sushi is lovely and tasty and fresh and the calamari which I have and the fish which my mom has is always on par. Really very very good.  Always recommend for couples or parties. Love it x  Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian sushi options  Kid-friendliness: There is a jungle gym right by the outside section  Parking: Huge huge enormous parking lot. Literally I think it&#39;s bigger than all the shops even put together. Parking is akso surrounded by the shops and we&#39;ll lit at night so feels very safe  Wheelchair accessibility: It is right off the parking lot so no stairs or pavement bumps  Dietary restrictions: There are vegetarian sushi options
