Ocean basket - Grey Owl

I am a big lover of fish and one thing I dont compromise on to get my fish is good service. I had initially called in to make a takeaway order but upon arrival to pick up we decided to stay and eat there. The kitchen staff and floor staff gave impeccable service. I enjoyed the food and appreciated that the store wasn't overcrowded despite the holiday season. Thank you,see you soon!

I took out my wife for dinner on 14 February for a special treat. We were seated accordingly. When the waiters felt ready, we were served by the first one, then the second then the third. Over an hour later we had not eaten whet we had ordered. People who came after us were eating happily. All we got was a line of waiters to apologise. Just putrid service. Am going to tell very many people not to waste their time and money at that stupid place. It was not the first time suffering such bad service. BAD MANAGEMENT

Food was good, but waiter didn't bring those breads, garlic or chillis like the other ocean baskets. Then had to go withdraw money to pay because of "loadshedding".Food: 5/5

The service at Grey Owl was one of the worst ever. Three different waiters were serving us, might I add with no name tags so I still don’t know their names. My husband and I spent over an hour watching as food was being served to other clients. After about an hour and a half with our order not having arrived we decided to pack and go. The attitude of the management and staff leave much to be desired and were not bothered to be losing clients due to slow and bad service. We certainly won’t be going back there despite our love for sea-food.

Had lunch there. Fish and chips delicious. Service great with such a friendly and attentive waiter. Cuppaccino was delicious and strong and warm. Had to end the meal with Baklava and ice cream... off course!!! To DIE for. Yummy. Would recommend any day

Was there again last night. Awesome new menu Mediterranean Rice Balls with Haloumi inside, food excellent! For a bit of an extra service evening, ask upfront for Ashley to be your waiter! Really disappointed with quality of food we ordered for takeaway. I don’t think I will come again to Grey Owl branch. This was the 2nd time I had to call manager to complain about quality of food.

As always a good food selection so that everyone can get there favorite. Waiter was well spoken and visited us just enough so that we did not feel uncomfortable. The restaurant was a little empty with only 3 table occupied for a Sunday lunch. We enjoyed it and will be there againFood: 4/5
