"The Old Park Station is an events venue for hire to shoot commercials, host weddings, shoot adverts & films, concerts, picnics, conferences, shows, exhibitions', etc.The Old Park Station dates from 1896 and opened to passengers in 1897. This makes it one of the oldest surviving structures in Johannesburg, giving it exceptional historical value. It is also one of only two station structures in the region surviving from this period, giving it a high degree of rarity. It was commissioned by the Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek and operated by the Netherlands South African Railway Company NZASM, which later became Transnet.For more info contact: [email protected]"

This is now called The Market, black owned event concert space. The platform is breathtakingly beautiful.  Quiet safe...a must see and experience

Event organisers are key in this place. Inside the event, everything was beautiful and security up to scratch. However, just outside the premises.. Safety is an issue. I witnessed a phone grab. The criminals are so quick and organised. Really not safe. But i would recommend the venue but it depends who is hosting.

Beautiful space. Parking can be challenging

Its nolonger lovely its always offline  every ATM machine its not working because of off electricity

Very pleasant venue for functions except the toilets are portable toilets which are outside

Very cool venue for events. Limited parking is the only issue

Nice space to relax it's a park

I don't recall visiting there 

My expectations were high but left deflated.

This place is so cosy, I love it so much
