Thank you what great service and doctor. I hate going to doctors and new to Pretoria too. but after days of feeling like my face had been hit by a bus, high fevers and swelling with a bad infection and nothing else working I finally feel back to almost normal after just a few hours. They also have a telehealth support whatsapp app which I must say is fantastic, bringing health access directly to people in need. If I could give the Dr. 10 stars I would. Thank you!
What an amazing experience. Hands up to On Demand Doctor, Faerie Glen. Doctor Anton Prinsloo helped me within seconds and it was after hours. Thank you so much. Nice to know there are doc tors who really care.
Reception is friendly and helpful. Dr L Viljoen is an amazing Dr. He is the only Dr that could pick up that my gallbladder was the cause of all my pain, when everyone else just assumed it was an stomach ulcer. For years I had pain, and now my gallbladder has been removed. Definitely my go to GP.
My husband saw a doctor on Saturday 14th January 2023. He is still waiting to get the results on his blood test. Today, Thursday 19thJanuary, he phoned 3 times in order to try and get his results, just to be cut off all 3 times. This is unacceptable, what do we have to do to get the results???
I'm a 71 year old pensioner and I've been going to these Doctors since the beginning. Went there to get a repeat of my script. Waited 2 and a half hours when Dr. Sauermann called me. She told me 4 times that I'm an addict and should see a Psychiatrist or I must go to rehab. no examination at all. I've been on this medication for many years! She had the audacity to charge me for a full consultation! I'm absolutely disgusted. Pensioners are definitely not her forte. She had no right to talk to me as though I'm a teenager who might have some addiction. Will never go back as you see a different Doctor almost every time. My house Doctor of 34 years I had a relationship with. Moved from Johannesburg quite a few years ago. Now I have to sit and listen to her and still pay! She's obnoxious!
I love the model they follow that you can just walk in. Even though you sometimes wait a good while take toys along for your kids, it's still better than appointment doctors, where you sometimes end up waiting long anyway. And the weekends... that helps!!! Dr Prinsloo and Dr Sauermann are stellar doctors with amazing, caring hearts. They've often gone the extra mile for me, even when they weren't our primary GPs. Dr Sauermann once helped me it an acute medical issue by phoning at 8 in the evening when my blood results came through, and Dr Prinsloo has done something similar when I had breathing problems. It is rare to find a doctor that cares beyond the moment you walk out of their door, even when there's something seriously wrong.
Our experience with the locum doctor yesterday was terrible. On arrival at 12h30 we were received with care and smiles, however that soon changed when the locum doctor on call entered the reception area going off at the receptionist infront of all the waiting patients. One lady left and said shell return in the morning. It was unprofessional and rude. We left there with no diagnosis and a script for medication. We got a 2nd opinion today.
I have been going to Doctors on Demand for a while now but my experience on Sunday 20/02/2022 was not pleasing. I got there filled in the form another lady came and she was told that she needs to fill in the form that I am almost done and she can fill in a form first. I kindly took out one form and passed it to her while I finished of mine. I handed my form in and sat outside the lady followed me shorty and sat outside. We patiently waited over an hour and we could see who we are after as the other people came in after us and filled in a form. When it was then our turn as we expected the doctor the called the lady who filled in the form after me, my husband went to the reception to ask how the que works but instead of respectfully answer him the reception keep saying "sir listen, listen sir" without letting him finish speaking before she could answer. THIS WAS VERY RUDE, IF I PERSON IS SPEAKING TO YOU AND U ARE IN CLIENT SERVICE IT IS AN OBVIOUS THING TO BE QUIET LET THE PERSON SPEAK THEM RESPOND INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SHUT THEM UP. The receptionist claim that the lady filled in first and I told her that is not true Because I am the one that gave that lady a form, she then came up with another excuse saying some people come then go to the shop and later return. I asked my husband to leave it as we would then be next but he went and asked the receptionist whether we were next and she said no there's another person before you, that was a shock because all those left with us had recently arrived and filled in a form on arrival. THIS was very upsetting and especially the tone the receptionist used to speak to us like we were nothing, I will not tolerate such disrespect!!! And I feel that she spoke to us like that because we are black people, gave us no respect. The doctors there are awesome BUT THE RECEPTIONIST, BOTH OF THEM ARE DISREPECTFUL AND DONT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS FAIRLY
Dr. Coetzee really went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. She explained everything in deep and its rare that a doctor really cares. Wish she was a permanent doctor at ODD Faerie Glen.
