Palmiet Caravan Park

Very nice camp ground and very quiet during off season.

Not impressed will not go again. Really nice/beautiful setting and views. Bathrooms clean and neat. Loud music at most campsites. I was late for a meeting as the gates were locked or would not open and no one there to help. No Gaurd, cleaners or Camp manager. I called and he said the cleaner lady that was not there will open. I eventually made a plan and left. I could not pay either no one there to pay. I will have arrange payment next week NOT IMPRESSED AND DISAPPOINTED!

We had a great time at this place in Kleinmond. Great place to do tent camping & other activities. The beach is about 80 meters away which is perfect. Lots of trails for a good walk or even a good run.

We spent 7 nights here. The weekend was hectic with loads of partying people and lots of loud music. The quiet days were bliss, loved the beach walks.

This campsite is a gem. Right on the beach. The staff and management were friendly. We stayed in a 11 which had spectacular views. Some.noisy campers on the first night but when we called management the noise ceased immediately. Very safe environment. Abolition blocks were all clean and we'll maintained. We will definitely be back

Stunning location, staff are friendly and helpful. Ablution blocks are super clean and are checked regularly. Love this place!

Amazing views of both the ocean and the mountains. Hot water in the showers and a nice walk to the beach. Only problem ever encountered were no plugs in the kitchen sinks

What a gem. Perfectly neat and right next to the beach. Absolutely beautiful surroundings.

Pros: Nice size plots with shade. Awesome beach/lagoon with great views. Clean toilets/showers. Cons: No enforcement of the rules so loud music till 04:00 in the morning. No motorcycles allowed?!? although you can rev your souped up cars with free flow exhausts and play loud music through you 1000000 watt amp till anytime of the morning. There is a large informal settlement close by and security is non existent. Not their fault though If you want a peaceful weak end away with the family or you are an Adventure traveler on two wheels this is not the place for you.The no Motorcycles allowed is typical of South Africans lumping all into one category and discriminating against . If You want a boys/girls piss up party this is for you.
