I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was very clean....thanks to the house keeping department, the breakfast was sumptuous and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I enjoyed my interaction with Kevin, Carmen, Lucy among others...in short I did not have any negative incident with the staff. Kudos to the management for employing people of different abilities and providing an inclusive opportunity on which they excel. It was my first time here and I would highly recommend this place.
I attended a 4-day conference held in the hotel. All the staff were helpful, on the ball, and friendly, and I enjoyed my stay. The food was excellent too. I was particularly impressed by the 3 deaf staff members who worked in the kitchen. They were especially good at anticipating what I wanted, even before I asked. Kudos to the hotel management for employing them. The hotel deserves 5 stars.
I like going to them because I know everything will always be clean and tidy. I had breakfast with them and it is the average breakfast you find at every restaurant. Staff are friendly. I just had to go to reception 3 times during the week to reset the access card to my room because it didn't want to unlock the door.Rooms: 4/5
I absolutely love Park Inn Newlands and I have gone back so many times, especially to celebrate birthdays. My family and I absolutely love the relaxed atmosphere and the great food. One of the best buffet breakfasts I've experienced. Celebrated my sister's birthday recently at Park Inn and Lesley, our waitress really looked after us. Worthy of 5 stars and more
I had the most amazing experience at the Park Inn at Radisson hotel in Cape Town! I received friendly service from the loveliest staff who accommodated my every need. I would highly recommend this hotel for business accommodation. The room service was quick, and I received all my delicious meals freshly prepared. I also enjoyed the variety of foods available for breakfast. The underground parking provided a safe place for my rental car while staying at the hotel. A definite 5 star rating from me!
Very friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, and a nice breakfast offering. Coffee instant and tea in the rooms are really good not the standard options as available everywhere. The shower is lovely and the soap, shampoo and lotions are apparently a fancy brand according to my wife. Safe basement parking and a small basic gym is also available.
In a very central and safe location. The employees are very caring and smiling. The breakfast is also nice. But there are many problems with the building. Water cut, sink clogged, heating system failure are what I experienced during my two-day stay.
As I had a late check in, the receptionist was quite agressive and not friendly. Other staff were unhelpful and lacked etiquette. Although the lower end of the Radisons you would still expect standards to be upheld but the rooms were poorly maintained and way too small. For the quoted price per night, I would not recommend this place, rather an airbnb would give a much better experience.
Friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant has a relatively small lunch/dinner menu, but the food was very tasty. Spend one night there and had a great experience . The room card scanner in the lift is a bit tricky and doesnt always connect but got the hang of it later!
Best sleep I had at a hotel, either I was too tired for the 7 days I was there or the bed was very comfortable. Staff here are very welcoming and friendly and they go out of their way to help when required. Loadshedding badly affects this hotel though as water is cold and no water pressure when loadshedding. This can easily make one miserable. Then the kitchen did not have food ready on a couple of mornings probably due to loadshedding. As you can see the pics, bainmaries are empty and it was about 07:30. There were 2 days when the egg station was closed with no explanation. Quite a basic hotel for a Raddisson.
