Parkview Library

Parkview libraryis the best place ever to be at. So serene and peaceful. The environment is out of this world. It is also not that populates, that gives readers enough space to breathe.

Friendly staff; can easily get books sent from other libraries

I went with my friend to the library to inquire about getting a library card for her. I was not an intended customer but I was looking forward to supporting and getting more information a local library. As a university student, I didn’t use public libraries but I’ve always wondered if it would be a pleasant or worthwhile to use a public library. There was no signage saying that the library was closed the times were even on display at the door and all the doors/entrances were open. The main door to the library was unlocked and closed but the weather was wet and cold. We assumed that the door must have been closed due to the this weather When we walked in instead of being greeted kindly by the workers. As soon as we gently opened the door, one of the lady who was at the counter exclaimed “what are THEY doing here?”. Not only was this rude but after my friend asked for some information about attaining a library card, we were offhandedly dismissed with a “we’re closed” even though there was no signage saying such. I was disappointed by the lack of respect that both my friend and I received. I don’t think it’s appropriate to be rude to people because we are young and didn’t know that the library was closed. I’m upset to say that I won’t go back to this library if I’m met with this deplorable attitude and lack of common decency.

I love reading and this library has a good selection of books with interested and helpful staff. There are also puzzles and DVD's. They have now closed the library and have no idea when it will reopen. I hope soon

Went in with a query as the sign said open and the door was open, was met with a “why are THEY here” and when asking my question, was told they were closed and to leave. What an uncomfortable experience.

A nice small library with nice friendly librarians and a photocopier to copy pages out of books for reference. Very nice cozy reading spots.

Good selection of books with a nice children's section. can be quite busy on Saturdays.

Very helpful but could use more newer books
