Highly recommend. Great value for €19 and well worth it for a full day out you can go on the cable cars nearby and get nice views of the river for an extra €6 euros . Great for families. You walk around the different geographic areas from above and then you get to see the lovely sea creatures below in their habitats. There was also a separate film shown in an imax type cinema. The sea dragons are especially beautiful. The sea otters and funny penguins were super cute . A great day out.
Nice experience some of the view ports are quite small so can be a bit of a squeeze to see some of the . It is a large central tank with smaller areas with different themes around the outside. This is spread across 2 floors. Not the best aquarium I have been to not the worst either. We did get to see the feeding time of the sea otters deffo a highlight. It was very busy when we went due to inclement weather. I would almost say too busy would have been more enjoyable if it were just a little bit quieter.
Beautiful aquarium, very modern and thoughtful expedition with a lot of emphasis on teaching about sustainability and the importance of the ocean. Besides the numerous species in the giant main tank. They also have penguins and extremely adorable otters and even several species on the lower level I have never seen before. It was one of the best experiences in Lissabon!
Loved it. It's a wonderful aquarium with a huge central tank and lots of sea creatures to see and really good AC as a bonus. The perfect escape for those hot days. We bought our tickets in advance from their website and skipped the lineup at the ticket office.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
I recently visited this aquarium and it was an incredible experience! The variety of sea life on display was truly impressive, and I was in awe of the vibrant colors and intricate details of each exhibit. The aquarium is very well-maintained and clean, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They were happy to answer any questions I had and even provided interesting facts about the different species of fish and marine life. One of the highlights of my visit was the large tank with several different species of sharks swimming gracefully around. It was an incredible sight to behold, and I could have spent hours just watching them swim. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this aquarium. It's a great place to learn about sea life and appreciate the beauty of our oceans. I can't wait to go back and explore more of what this wonderful attraction has to offer.
As aquariums go this one is good. There is one main tank that is two levels high. You walk around this main tank with smaller exhibits to the sides of it. There is a wide variety of fish including sharks, rays and other larger fish. For kids and adults this is a must do in Lisbon. The other rooms were not as good and the shop was a good size.
Large aquarium in Lisbon is really fascinating with a big variety of sea life. A massive tank with various sharks, sting ray and other marine life swimming harmoniously in the enclosed area. This oceanic ecosystem is probably the most amazing; diverse in species, numbers and size that I have ever seen in an aquarium. We also found an outdoor rock and waterfall area for penguins, ottos and other species that thrive in sub zero temperatures and environments. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable as well which makes the experience more enjoyable.
Wonderful oceanic center filled with many exotic species of sea life. The central aquarium is breathtaking and contains a wide variety of sharks, rays and fish. Other sections of the center feature different environments and creatures including otters, jellyfish, frogs and more. A really fantastic and educational destination for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended. You can easily spend 1-2 hours exploring.
Great Esperience! One of the best places to visit when in Lisbon! We were travelling with our little kid. We enjoyed all the visit. This place is fantastic! Easy to reach it with public transportation. You can even eat there and it is non expensive. Buy tickets before!
It's really nice place to spend time with children to check out marine life of deep sea. There are many species which are kept in water tank with impressive environment. You can see number of fishes with multiple category and different kinds ranging from small size of 5cm to 2 meter. Golden fish to shark and sting shark. They have kept Penguins, seals, and other species too. Also you can find some species of frogs. But as I saw in other aquarium, you can not find turtles and tortoises, snails, etc. The entry fee is Lil bit high as compared to what you see in the aquarium. Also the ONE show can be more impactful if they used connected screens with 3D glass. There is another room for underwater ecosystem something called out. Which can be done more effectively to show how it's important to use resources from sea but unfortunately it was not that much impactful. They have shown many things which are being built by using raws extracted from sea but not given any alternative solution for that. Also there is one shop for buying toys and other things related to marine life which is not that much attractive and cost is more, I mean there can be so many things which can make available for children to understand the marine life. But overall all its a good experience.
