VW History Museum

At first glance, it seems like an ordinary building. When you enter is an amazing place. Throughly enjoyed our visited considering we from KZN. So much of history is at this museum, especially if you are a VW fan. Was amazed to find the last of the citi golf from the production line straight unto museum floor with signatures of every staff member. Had an amazing time tour, which took around 45 minutes. Kids had a blast with golf 5 rally cars stimulation drives.

Was absutely FANTASTIC. I felt like a little child that had been given a packet of sweets. Just a pity the factory tours are still suspended . Would have LOVED tobe able to do factory tour .

Why closed during a school holiday? Was really looking forward to visit this museum as my family had a beetle for all of my childhood and student years and I drove two Golfs for many years myself. Was really really really disappointed to arrive there this 2021/2022 summer holiday and found it closed. I am one really disappointed Capetonian.

Awesome, worth the visit

This year were badly presented. Previous years the spectators received so many free gifts. Etc. Caps, umbrellas.coke etc and we were up dated every 10 Min of what's happening . Today we were 8 people together with children and we had to walk across the busy street to buy refreshments for the children. Sorry Guys but very badly presented and organised.

We went to the VW museum and it was quite a treat. They have cool games for kids to play and one can buy some apparel at the gift shop. If you come to Uitenhage, its well worth a visit and quite entertaining. Set aside at least two hours to go on this excursion.

I am a vw fanatic. I have a collection of vws dating from my 1974 Beetle upwards. Vw pe DOES NOT offer us loyal customers any ADEQUATE support. Instead we left to talk to the poorly knowledgeable call centre customer care agents. I am terribly disappointed with Vw SA. My most recent saga is my 2021 polo gti, whose oem continental tyres cannot be sourced after 20000km by anyone at vw.

Please can you remove the cellphone number listed on you website. It is my number and I have been inundated with phone calls from last year asking for the vw museum. I have called the Auto Pavilion numerous times previously and reported the matter and was promised that it would be rectified but I'm still waiting for you to rectify it and get back to me. I would really appreciate it if you sort it out as soon as possible...
