A disappointing and misleading service by both Evans and Beverley in the Joburg office, which made the transfer of our dog quite stressful, not to mention the wasted time and money. In a nutshell, i signed a quote for Qatar airways. Then shortly before the flight we were told that the the airline does not cover our route for pets any more. The latter proved to be a lie by the airline itself. Then petport admitted the same and told us that petport does not work with Qatar and we need to cover a 50% higher quote with another airline. It was too late by that time to change the agent. So basically , a scam by the Joburg office as they were the ones giving out Qatar quote, despite the fact that they do not work with them
Thank you to Evans for his great service and ensuring my two schaunzies arrive safely in NZ. It's been 6 long months, but they couldn't be happier.
Evans did a great job of arranging for our cat to move from SA to UK. His attention to detail and his friendly helpfulness was a delight. The whole experience was very good and Jasper arrived safe & sound.
Thank you to Clarise if PETport Animal Travel,Clarise really went out of her way to keep me informed all the way as well as their agents in the UK.my two fur babies arrived happy which I stressed as Cuddles is going blind and is very weary and Roxy is just skittering. They arrived safe and sound. Thank you PETport.
They do not respond and are not very helpful. Moving our fur friends are extremely important, so I advise you go with Petwings as they are extremely helpful and really CARE about our fur babies.
Covid19 has not made things easy for anyone. We moved to the UK in March 2020 leaving our furbabies in South Africa with my brother until my hubby and I had found work and a pet friendly place to live. Little did we know that the UK would go into lockdown just 10 days after we moved here. Fast forward to 9 months later, cancelled flights and endless sleepless nights filled with worry wondering when we would see our babies again, we finally got some good news. Kendal Pietersen our lovely consultant from PETport made what seemed like an impossible dream come true. She never gave up even though the odds were stacked against us with the UK going into a second lockdown. We are finally reunited with our furbabies and they are settling in to their new life in the UK. Thank you to Kendal and everyone we have dealt with at PETport for making this all possible. If I could rate Kendal from PETport 6 Stars I would! We have just had 4 Domestic Cats transferred to the UK with PETport. I cannot emphasis enough just how professional Kendal was and how she showed complete passion and empathy throughout the entire process. She kept us updated on a regular basis and made sure everything went according to plan. The Cattery at the PETport offices is well kept and the cats are very well looked after. Kendal is definitely a valuable asset to PETport's business. We realize these are very difficult circumstance with the pandemic, yet you all continue to operate with efficiency and professionalism. Well done all at PETport!
PETport assisted us in bringing our beloved Ben from Pretoria to London. Genevieve was very helpful in giving us clear guidance on what we needed to do. She kept us up to date from collection to delivery. We even received photos of him in the kennels the few days before his flight. Would highly recommend.
I would recommend Petport any day of the week! But specifically - Kendal Getting our 2 doggie children from Johannesburg to Ireland on a commercial flight and through all the red tape during Covid to Ireland was incredible. Kendal went above and beyond in every way possible - WhatsApping me and answering all my million questions and even sorting out everything at 12am on a Sunday morning - you are an exceptional human Kendal- I can’t thank you enough! Kendal updated me every step of the way especially after our babies were collected. Tracking the flight at odd hours of the day. We are so grateful for Kendal and the Petport team!
If you are relocating with your pet, Petport is the company to use. I felt like my dog and getting her to us was important to Petport. Our agent, Kendal Pietersen was very helpful and caring every step of the way! I highly recommend Petport!
