Pine Lodge

The price is fair for the size of the unit. Bedding and beds are comfortable. The stove and kitchen looks a bit 'tired' and surfaces are clean, but it needs a bit of TLC. Housekeeping was good. Beds were made and the kitchen area cleaned and restocked with coffee and sugar. There is nonwarning about the monkeys in the area. If you dare to open any wimdows ever so slightly they come in and make a mess of everything. It is not fair to expect guests to keep all windows shut all the time. They can at the very least put some wire mesh or something monkey proof infront of some of the windows to allow them to be opened. Very close to the beach and restaurants.

Wow, this was refreshing. After our long trip from Cape Town, we arrived must earlier then our booking time, but was welcomed by the receptionist. She had a cottage allocated to us, so that we could get some rest and freshen up until our booked cottage became available. Welcomed by the staff and inspected by monkeys for stowaways bugs. I was glad to see that the locals still appreciate these locations, by occupying them on weekends. That’s how you support your community

The location is great as it is along the beach and has nice aesthetics. Great place to have a variety of events. The lawns and playground are safe and beautiful. I loved playing soccer on two of them. My sleep was peaceful. Well, there are monkeys, but I don't have something to say about them. The rooms are tidy and neat. Beds are comfortable to sleep in. Besides us being noisy, I think there is smooth-peaceful-silent sound here. It is a great place to spend time and meet my scholarship mates. Walkability: Rooms are not too far from the main/reception office, and they have a walkable distance.

Lovely place with direct access to beach. Great nights sleep in log cabin. Management organized early breakfast, most appreciated. Pub/Restaurant makes amazing burgers. Way bigger than expected! Couldn't finish.Rooms: 4/5

Camp site is beautiful and the ocean is close by No firstaiders on site and it's a 20 min drive to the nearest hospital, would suggest to get a first aid kit and and first aid training as all companies should have.Service: 3/5

Great place to get away if you're looking for a quiet beach. If they can add reliable backup power and wifi they will be a five!Rooms: 5/5

My first time staying, n it was my worst nightmare, the bathroom taps had no mixer , there was no phone to call reception, no beverages were given, no wifi, the carpets were filthy, the cleaning service was terrible they didn't even wash the dishes clean , the pots were all scratched, the braai grill was filthy even tho we asked reception to send someone to clean it all they did was removed the charcoal n left the grill filthy as it was , whoever is traveling to Port Elizabeth please don't ever book here
