Before even entering the door you get a feel of the atmosphere, which is comfortable, relaxed and friendly with a "special occassion" air. They've clearly put a lot of effort into the establishment, and even had a button on each table that you press to call a waiter. When we arrived we were immediately directed to a larger table, despite being only 2 people, to accommodate having our baby in his car chair. The service was amazing and consistent. All the staff were friendly and efficient, and everything was fast paced without feeling rushed. We recieved menus straight away, had a waitress at our table as soon as were ready to order, and didn't wait much for our food. And, speaking of the food, it was delicious. Bonus points for being so reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict.
The service was great and food delicious. Breakfast options are plenty,making it worth visiting many times. And I'm still fascinated and impressed with the technology of ease of calling waiters.Food: 5/5
Edit: 1 STAR I recently ordered a take away from Del Forno I was told it would take between 45 min to an hour after 1hr30 I called and I was told the order was ready it was waiting for a driver upon which I canceled the order sad to see a great restaurant that I enjoyed for so long disappoint me like this Old Review: Consistently Great Food breakfast in the pictures
Great food as always, we had pasta's this visit. The Butter chicken pasta was delicious but the amount of chicken a little lacking. the fegatini on the other hand, super tasty, rich, great flavour, and good portion size. I must commend the service here as the waiters/staff are always friendly and helpful. really enjoyed the visit
This is a lovely place to go for lunch or dinner if you're looking for a variety of options on the menu. They have burgers, pizzas, salads, pastas etc. It may not be the best place for small kids as there is no play area. It can also get quite loud if the place is very full but that applies to most places. The quality of their food is always great and fresh, and they also have nice specials and even date night specials. Vegetarian options: They have a few vegan and vegetarian options available on the menu, would be nice to see even more in future.
Friendly and very well trained staff. It was a pleasure to eat there. Everything was cooked well and nicely presented. Honestly , I eat out to be waited on , and Del Forno Farrarmere has exceeded my expectations. Well done all. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free. Vegan cheese for pizza
Lovely clean restaurant with excellent service and tasty Italian food. We enjoyed our lunch at Del Forno. My husband had a fish dish which he truly enjoyed. I had a tasty lasagne. I can recommend this restaurant. Ample, parking outside.
Its conveniently situated next to the pick n pay. Great variety of food,I had a Bar one marshmallow to drink, it was soooo yum! For mains we had pasta as there was a special 2 traditional pastas for R145 which is so reasonable. The list of traditional pasta are also great! We ordered the butter chicken pasta which is my all time favorite and never disappoints...we also had the bolognaise pasta I must say I wasn't overly excited about this pasta it just felt like it lacked something. Then we had chocolate brownie for dessert, it wasn't too sweet so we didn't feel like a sugar rush wich was very nice. The service was great! Overall a good time.
