JEROME Maggott owner of Plax the worst service rendered the owner is a coward hides behind his staff. I want my refund seeing that you didn't want to give my meds just because the money is not reflecting in your bank account why do we have proof of payment. Money before health definitely!
Had the worst experience at Plax. Emailed the owner detailing the incident. It's been months and he has ignored my emails. Entitled staff member that assisted me made sure to make himself feel more important than me, the customer.
They literally charge double and up to R50 more per item than other pharmacies, why? They don't include individual prices on the receipt so you don't know the price per item I sent someone to get meds and instead of going to where they usually go they went to Plax. When I phoned for the prices as I thought the price on the receipt was wrong I was shocked... they disgusting re it!
The Pharmacy charged R170 for a 200ml of Prospan Syrup, R50 more expensive than dischem and clicks and R30 more than other 24hr pharmacies. It's a bladdy rip off man I won't support them again until they rectify their prices. People are struggling, please recognize this.
This place doesn’t even deserve the 1 star rating, went to pick up medication that my doctor called through with the script earlier the afternoon, got to plax just as they were closing which I understand however the pharmacist Mr Roberts had a hell of a attitude! Told me that my doctor called earlier this afternoon and I’m only showing up now, not that it’s his business to question a customer. Then asked me where I’m staying and said I live close by almost to say why didn’t I come sooner- again not his place or business to question me as the customer!! The cherry on-top is when he said his rushing to get home to watch rugby so in other words I’m taking up his precious time. Unfortunately I have a repeat script for this medication, i DEFINITELY won’t be back after my script is done and will not recommend plax.

I just had the most amazing experience at the New Plax that I visited for the first time. I've never been welcomed into a pharmacy before. At the corporates, I have to pick a number and sit in the queue as if I am in a production line. When my number is called, the pharmacist never spends more than 3 minutes with me. My experience with Plax was completely different. The staff welcomed me and they established my needs upon entering the store. The gentleman I spoke to examined my script and discussed my condition with me and showed real empathy while doing so. My script was filled and I left a happy patient. The atmosphere in the pharmacy was truly therapeutic. I shall definitely be going back to Plax Pharmacy. They have added so much value to my life in such a short space of time. Thank you Plax The cherry on top is that they trade from 8am until midnight everyday
How pathetic! I purchased something incorrectly, returned while I was still in the store and I'm still waiting for my refund almost two months later. Their business practices are archaic as even minimal refunds can only be dealt with by "management". So your refund will not be fulfilled in store unless management is present! If they are not available, then refunds are dealt with by management through a reporting process that clearly does not work! Fortunately I am not in that difficult a position, so I can wait; but who knows how many other people - desperate for their hard-earned cash - would have have fallen victim to having to wait for their refund. Especially since this is of a medical nature and possibly an emergency!
Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent staff at Plax Pharmacy. It has always been my to go place for medical assistance. The staff at Plax are amazing and always go the extra mile in assisting. They always ask the right questions to try and help the best they can. They are friendly and always have that personal touch. I have been visiting Plax for years as I have lived in the area all my life and every time I walk into the Pharmacy I am remembered and greeted by name. As for today, I wanted to give a extra thank you to Brian Wyngaard for your help. For giving us all the information and options available to us. For prescribing the best medication for us in trying to help us feel better. Thank you for your time and your knowledge. It made our day.
I am very impressed and grateful for the amazing service I receive from Plax Pharmacy in Lansdowne. They make you feel so at home and the support and concern they show is very sincere. My recent experience where they assisted and recommended the concentration supplement called Memrise, has really changed my daughter's life in terms of studying. She is a Diabetic and initially I was very concerned that it would not be compatible with her Insulin. Brian took the time to read up on it as well as other reviews which gave me the peace of mind that it will be safe for her to use. It has helped her with her studies so much without any side effects whatsoever. Thank you so much Plax Pharmacy for the amazingly great service!!
