Post Office - Chempet Post Office

Wish I can give negative stars. Keeping on losing parcels, and extremely rude when I went in to begging/asking. Must not let them getting away from zero willing of services. It intentionally still "posts" your slip, instead of sms to your phone like Milnerton and all the other post office do... so they know your slip can get lost in the air easily. Then they can do whatever they want with the unclaimed parcels longer than a period of time.

Wow what an experience Sipho Makapela helped me with the best manners and professional manner my parcel was send wrongly to the Post Office it is supposed to be in Port Shepstone and wow 100 stars for your willingness to search for it and send it to the right address you are truly an asset for the Post Office

Called in to collect a parcel before end of day, drove through traffic only to find that they closed an hour before they confirmed on the phone with me minutes before with no warning.

Never had any problems with the branch thus far. Today, Saturday 28 May however I got there at 11:40 am and it was closed even though operating hours state they're open until 12pm. Now I'm sitting here with a sad 4 year old girl who was really looking forward to receiving her granny's parcel.

On May we received a slip indicating that there was something to collect at Chempet, featured mid March. I have tried several times, coming to the office, calling, emailing, still no joy now in July. I am saddened by the poor service from what used to be a very efficient postal service.

Been closed for a few weeks. Parcel cannot be collected. No indication when they will open again. Please send parcels to another branch so they can be collected, alternatively advise when you will open again so we don't have to physically drive out there just to see if you're open again.

Although notification stated cash payment I was able to pay with a bank card; This is safer as far as I'm concerned They are open throughout the day until 5pm which is convenient since both Bothasig & Edgemead no longer have post offices.

There was a robbery at Chempet Post Office which caused the PO to be closed. Despite this, managed to get help to get my parcel, staff was very helpful. Mostly appreciated.

Just been there after phoning and phoning. They are closed from the 6 may 2022 so how where must one pick up parcels?

The branch is closed due to robbery - on the post office website my parcel is at the branch. I contacted contact centre and other branches who report different dates when it will be reopened . I dont have any way of knowing if my parcel was affected - when i can collect- when they will reopen. This is unacceptable !!
