I already have policile trauma from being abused in the past. Extremely RUDE. they were not in uniform. Asked my husband for his documents while he was waiting for me outside home affairs he told them its in the boot for some reason they were not satisfied they wanted to find something wrong. They were 7 of them... They took my husbands car.. Drove it to come pick me up. Then proceeded to interrogate me FOR NOTHING in our vehicle. I told them i dont know why were being detained in our car and that im comfortable answering all questions at the police station. They went on abt my attitude and that they were not impressed. I told them id rather be quiet until station. We got to the police station they were still driving our car we showed them my husband's passport they assumed he ddnt have one.. They wasted our time. Detained us for no reason. Caused commotion.. Drove our car.. Took my husbands phone...only to find what we have been telling them = really abuse of power and lack of respect.
This police station is quite possibly the worst and most incompetent law enforcement station I've ever had to deal with. A woman was in the midst of an armed robbery and I contacted them, only to be told they don't deal with the area her house was located. I then asked her to give me the contact information of the relevant station and she tells me no I should Google it. Pathetic and disgusting.
This is really bad i have been trying to get hold of them on the phone regarding a police clearance that is not out yet and i was told before to check the system but the system said they did not picked up any criminal activities on the person. So when will i get my papers!!!
Friendly service, but you will have to wait a long time for service
I were astonished! This is the police station with the best service in the whole country!! Friendly officers and very helpfull. Took me yesterday 10min to finish a police clearance and then I was out of there! No overcrowding or waiting for hours to be helped. Great experience!!!!
I thought the police station operates for 24hours. This 1 is closes at 13:30 and anything done for citizens after that is a favour. Please explain.

I'm from Pretoria central police station i asked for the form for the reservist they told me that I'm wasting my time on that they didn't even give me i end up leaving because no one wanted to help me
Better service delivery and good crime analysts
I went there only to certify documents. They are quite efficient, but one civilian lady seems to find herself important and made difficulty about my residence permit when I wanted a certified copy of my passport. None of your business, just don’t put nonsense in people’s way. The others were professional, efficient and helpful.
