Profiles Gym

What can I say, I LOVE this place! 25m pool, aqua pool for splash and aerobics, squash courts, crossfit section, body building/weights areas, cardio machines, resistance training, classes, health spa, hair salon and friendly staff! My gym sees me every morning at 5 for a wonderful class run by the owner. I'll always recommend this gym to anyone wanting to get fit, stay fit and enjoy an healthy lifestyle!

While I enjoyed the club, being told last night for the first time that they are closing the William Moffett club permanently with immediate effect, leave a very sour taste.. No previous communication , VERY UN PROFFESSIONAL : :

Worst gym in PE. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SIGN UP HERE. Every day more and more equipment disappears for "maintenence" but is never returned. Maintenance on two machines that were removed is now reaching 3 months .... and counting. Bathrooms are disgusting and always smell like urine. Whenever concerns are raised you simply get told to find another gym to gym at.......except there's this thing called a contact that they lock you into which doesn't allow you to simply move to another gym. Other family owned gyms around South Africa have better hours, better equipment and better service than this place. Again, think twice before signing up here.

If it was not for the staff, specifically the manager breathing down your neck 20 minutes before closing time and then every 5 minutes after to try and pressure you to leave so the staff can leave earlier I would have gave a 5 star because it is a lovely gym. Too bad the staff makes it feel untrainable

Facilities are are alright, could use with an extra fan or two.. Staff are friendly and helpful, but the owner is a miserable old cow who does not know how to speak to paying customers.. Always a greater workout when she decides to stay at home.

Worst gym in PE, when I signed up they closed at 9, they changed the closing times during and after covid without warning, on top of that they kick you out before their closing time, claiming it is closing time... They moved equipment from the gym without warning or replacement, facilities are going backwards and not being maintained. Some staff are also extremely unfriendly, I would not recommend wasting your time at this gym.

I joined Profiles last month, specifically to use the pool. I was not told that the large pool is not heated and that there is no hot water in the showers. I have never seen the cafe open. Staff are unhelpful and always staring at their phones. I have definitely wasted my money here!

We had a one year membership at Profiles. Positives: lovely gym, very clean and friendly. Negatives: their sauna is almost always off and there showers are always always!! cold. You can come in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening and the showers will be cold. If you don't shower at the gyms, then this is a perfect gym for you. If you like to wash off after your workout or swim, then you might want to go somewhere else

Love the early morning routine, when its not to busy! Always clean and neat. People there are also friendly and mind their own things, focused on their own exercises etc. Best part is, n travel allot and there for they have the month to month basis which actually helped me to go back to gym again without the worries of waisting my money all the time due to traveling. We also make use of Radisons when I have early attendances to be at as its just around the corner of our place. So I save up allot of time and get a chance to push in a workout for the day
