"Red Door Café Edenvale opened its doors on the 2nd January 2013 and never looked back since.Our goal was to create a comfortable and relaxed venue in the heart of Edenvale, on the East Rand of Gauteng. We wanted to create meals that were more than just a way to fill the gap, but an experience, this is where our ever evolving menus come from and offer healthy and freshly prepared meals and snacks.We have staff that are experienced, friendly and approachable to make sure that your stay with us is well enjoyed. We have FREE Wi-Fi, that, mixed with our top quality coffee and wide selection of breakfast choices, makes the perfect combo for your next business meeting venue."

Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, this hidden gem has great food, wine/beer and cute deli/shop across from the restaurant. Staff was very helpful and kitchen accommodating of my vegan/gluten free needs.
Absolutely loved this venue. A wonderful restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, good food and fantastic customer service - there is also a small local food & goodies shop on the same premises. A true gem in the heart of Edenvale!!
I cannot fault this place. The coffee is great and the food is amazing too. My advice is stick to the prices on the menu and before adding extra stuff always ask for the price or else you may be surprised when the bill comes
I don't quite know where to start because everything was great!! The coffee was delicious, our food was beautifully presented, fresh and so tasty, the waitresses were friendly and we got a donut and some cake take away. I've never had such a fresh donut before, if you're a fan of Nutella I 110% recommend, the carrot cake was also to die for- 10/10!! Then the shop on site was absolutely gorgeous too, with beautiful decor items, gifts, candles etc and then little nibbles and sauces etc. I can't recommend enough!! We're so excited to go back to try a lunch. We booked a table and I would suggest that you do as they get quite busy. Also great to sit inside by the fire place now in winter.
First time here, my daughter and I had a lovely tea party. Beautiful looking cakes packed with flavour, will definitely come again! Edit: Popped in for a quick milkshake after school and had one of the yummiest ever. Mango made from fresh fruit is sublime!
The food is fresh and tasty.Well presented. Lovely café with great food. A decorating type retailer within the premises. This is a great place for breakfast.Food: 5/5
Red hot. What a find ! Perseverance above all else. Don’t think twice, its nice. Spot on service, good food, and ambience and feel all there. Trawling for a place for breakfast after our parkrun nearby brought up all the usual commercial eating spots. I was looking for something different, with local flavour and uniqueness. Their access control is appropriate but once through that let my pictures confirm the look and feel. Love the place. It spoke to us and so we plan to return - for an evening meal.
Very cozy place. Food and coffee was excellent and reasonably priced. Nice small fire burning in the fireplace if you are seated inside, and want to get away from the cold in winter months. Parking is a bit of an issue when it gets busy. There is a small parking area available a short walk from the shop.
The sourdough is a great and unique touch to their burgers and sandwiches,the place is very cosy and warm...smells awesome. Kid-friendliness: There are couple of board games to play while waiting for your food.
Hello cosiness! I just love this cafe! In the winter it’s super cosy with a fireplace, and in the summer it all opens up and it’s super airy and light. The staff here know they menu so well and are very professional. The owner is super friendly too! The food is extremely fresh and delicious. A hidden gem! Oh, and they have a very cute gift shop and deli to browse and buy little gifts too.
