This is an absolutely disgusting rentals car agency. Not even worth a star. I arrived to Johannesburg to be given a roadworthy vehicle , but was told the 'lady' who books it didn't inform them and give me a vehicle that their managers use. Not only did they didn't remove the equipment from the back, but I required to wait for it to be cleaned. Then this vehicle was horrific to drive and even dangerous . I informed 2 months in advance the staff that I was working in Soweto and needed a roadworthy vehicle and promised this. But this wasn't followed. 2nd vehicle I received broke down in the middle of Soweto at 6am and their 24/7 HelpLine /tower wasn't even answering within 5 days of use! The person only came to the vehicle at 11am! I had no choice but for my safety leave the vehicle on the high way. They have refused to pay a deposit, even charged more of an amount to pay. Please for you safely pay the money to other agencies..you can lose your life!
One good thing about this establishment is that they are accommodating towards walk-in customers and bookings are not too big of an issue. However the process to get a car literally means signing your life away for a 20+ year old car, paying an exorbitant deposit considering the advertised rental prices and having the staff and/or owner try to squeeze out as much money from you for damages done on what was already a wreck of a vehicle. I would only recommend this business to the desperate because they are very accommodating in that regards but if you can afford a decent car from a more established company, I strongly suggest you go with that.
Great service from Mr. Joshua. Assisting and going out of their way to accommodate us even after one of the vehicles I rented from them was involved in an accident. Older vehicles in reliable and good condition. Will recommend
I was looking to rent a wreck but I was scared that if I did so the car might break down on me. I was happy when I drove off with the car and not a single problem. The cars are old but they are maintained very well. The people who work there were very nice and helpful. Some of the cars are also for sale. They're not fly by nights, according to my findings. Reputable and under a bigger car company.
If you need a very basic car for short term, this is the place to go also great service.
The Mazda 323 sedan had 422587Km, but it drove me around for just over 3 weeks impeccably. The service was very good. Wonderful Wreck.
Very helpful when in need of transport
The car i had literally drove like i wreck as soon as the speedo went over 60km/h Pro's - Cheap excess , cars ok for in town driving and good customer service Con's - If you can afford it rather pay extra and get a decent vehicle for your own safety . Most of their cars are really old with no airbags .Most cars not suited for the freeway
Great business. Super affordable car rental. Service good do with improvement but overall not terrible.
