Great service provided today when visiting the consulate. I had to provide various documents to apply for my tourist visa, and I only managed to get it completed after Carlos helped me. Thanks so much Carlos! 5 star service!
No answering emails , phone calls , I tried emailing and phoning the consulate in Cape Town and Pretoria … what next ???? . No website. Am planning my holiday can anybody help how to get hold this Mozambique embassy/Consulate please.
Does this place even exist? I have been trying to call and email this consulate for months now but I am getting nowhere. Phones are disconnected and all emails have bounced back. My friends and I have been trying to apply for visa for a holiday trip to Mozambique but it seems the Cape town office is non existent and only open 3hrs a day. How do they accommodate the working class people? Can anybody here please advise on a way to obtain relevant information and obtain a visa application. Thank you
I am hereby retracting my previous negative review of the Mozambique Consulate in Cape town - I went in this morning to apply for Visas for our group of travellers. Carlos was very polite and helpful. If there is any advice I can offer and applicant is to make sure you have all you paperwork ready and things seem to go very well. We are very excited for our upcoming adventure to Tofo and really appreciate how well we were handled today - Fingers crossed we get our visas back soon!
I found the Consulate staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. 10/10! I was somewhat concerned, after reading the negative reviews here. I arrived at the Consulate in "critical observer mode" prepared for the worst. We were attended to in a professional, efficient and friendly manner, and both Carlos and Brigido went way out of their way to assist us. I was quite blown away by their wonderful service. They treated all of the other customers in the same manner as I had experienced , about 8 other people during the time I was there, some needing work visas, some business visas and some tourist visas. The only customer I saw not looking too happy was the guy who didn't have all papers required in order to continue with processing his visa. After some time, I asked Carlos as to why he thought there may have been one or two negative reviews mentioning him by name, and his answer was accompanied by a rueful smile: that sometimes people arrive without the correct documents required, in an agitated frame of mind and expect him to perform miracles in the shortest possible time frame in sometimes not the politest manner. The Consulate has certain requirements that he has to ensure are fulfilled before any document processing can begin. More than fair enough! I wasn't there at the time that prompted other users to post negative reviews, but I honestly thought of him as a very helpful and likeable member of staff. Let's face it..... people are more likely to leave positive reviews about the aquarium or cable car than they are about the Mozambican Consulate, especially if arriving there a little stressed after reading negative reviews and maybe struggling to find parking. Arrive with a smile, and I'm very sure it will be reciprocated by the staff. They're great people and in my opinion based on my experience 24/02/20 I saw them trying hard to help :-
You will find the office on the 3rd floor at 47 on Strand, I was served immediately and had all my question answered. Thank you!
Opened up 15 minutes late. We were told the application is completely fine, we are just too early. We showed up again in said time, then we were told that the booking confirmations are not compatible. So we had to show up a third time.
Is your email down? I was getting delivery receipts and prompt responses now there aren't even delivery receipts?
Not answering phone. Not responding to email. not worth it. Not worthy of being called a consular service.
Hi, what phone number is the consulate in Cape Town using? No one is picking up the phone
