Received absolute 5-star service from Danny and his team at Reserved Café!  I required a private chef that could execute a tastey and interesting menu for a private wedding at home and Danny did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and the guests loved it!  I would highly recommend Reserved Café for your functions!

I don’t even know where to start. My boyfriend and I took our moms here for mother’s day. Walking in you are passing a beautifully clean and open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action such a treat. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman with a lovely smile and a rose for each of our moms, once seated we had some tasty coffees. I had the best mocha known to man, laced with chocolate and beautifully roasted coffee beans. After a short wait, we got our food and OH MY GOSH. All of us and I mean ALL 5 of us were blown away. The presentation to start off with was absolutely stunning, you can really see that food was plated with passion in the most eloquent plates. Eager to taste our food, we were met with bursting flavours, fresh ingredients and hearty portions. I had a savoury waffle topped with bacon, egg and cheese YUM! The waffle was so crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, what an absolute treat. I must say, I saw my boyfriends plate was accompanied by a tomato kind of salad/relish, long story short, I tasted it and wow! Ended up ordering some for myself, that was divine. I could eat a plate of that on it’s own. Ending off what was already a lovely breakfast, I had a hearty slice of carrot cake, and not your average carrot cake - this was the cake of all cakes. Incredibly moist with the most divine cream cheese icing, a must if you decide to go there. Overall, I would give 10 stars if I could. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a quaint, tasteful and lovely place to dine.  Vegetarian options: There are a variety of vegetarian options to cater for all tastes. The food is simply delicious.  Parking: There is secure, paid parking just below the centre as well as parking all along the melville strip.  Wheelchair accessibility: The place has ramps allowing for easy wheelchair accessibility.  Dietary restrictions: The owner/chef works right there in plain sight, my mother in law is allergic to mushrooms - we simply asked him to ensure the mushrooms were removed and he did exactly that with pleasure. They are very hands on, simply ask and they will make sure you are assisted with regards to any dietary requirements you might have.

Staff is really helpful and friendly. Everything is explained to you when you sit down. Good is freshly prepared. Coffee is of high quality and they even have decaf coffee. We enjoyed the container style shop layout. Will recommend them any time

Best Sandwich I have ever had, my little one had the frittata with an amazing watermelon salad which was incredible. Fab staff and good vibe definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Repeatedly visited this spot for breakfast and lunch without disappointment. the staff management are super kind and food yummy.  their menu goes an extra mile with innovation.   good spot for a morning dose of sun when sitting outside by the umbrellas, although the inside is equipped with gas heaters ... Food was nice and have big portions. This is one of the best places I've visited in Johannesburg.  Their crossaints are fresh, big and nice. I will definitely go there multiple times.Food: 5/5

The decor is lovely, and the milkshakes delicious. Try the bar one if you're a Chocolate lover. They have a variety of cakes and pastries available and a selection of healthy salads to choose from.

Wow!!! One of my favourite hidden gems in Melville! Cannot go wrong with their food! Even have a new menu with new choices and a lovely variety! Thank you Reserved Team for always brightening up my day.

The food was SOOO GOOOD!!! I strongly recommend the chicken prego! It was so good.  The person who served me was very friendly and made sure I had all I wanted.  The food did take quite a bit of time to arrive, but it was worth the wait.  I felt comfortable in the little cafe. And I was very impressed with it. Strongly recommend.  Kid-friendliness: Reserved Cafe itself wasn&#39;t kid friendly.  Parking: R15 for underground parking from 15 minutes to 12 hours, I think it was. Otherwise there is parking on the road which is free.
