Great place with a hipster upmarket feel to it. The brunch menu is unique and honestly delicious. There is seating available inside and outside and reservations are only accepted after 12.  Definitely not a place for a quick bite, rather enjoy the experience/vibe of the place with your friends and family.  Staff are friendly from the entrance and they add to the experience.

I enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast on a fine winter morning.. food was very well prepared.. served with a nice coffee. Would recommend this place to anyone doing a trip through JHB!  Vegetarian options: Plenty of Vegan options available

On multiple occasions, I have had the best meals of my life at Salvation Cafe. The breakfast menu is very extensive and absolutely DELICIOUS! The breakfast menus caters to those with a sweet or savoury tooth, to vegans and vegetarians and those looking to have a boozy breakfast with their mimosas. I would 1000% recommend Salvation Cafe and it is tucked away in a peace and green part of Joburg.  Vegetarian options: Absolutely amazing! I keep going back for their Avo and Hummis dukkha; best hummus I&#39;ve ever had!

Great breakfast spot. Fantastic coffee and delicious food to boot. Only reason for the 4 start is due to lack of parking space outside and the waiting line should you wish to sit inside.  Kudo to the wait staff - friendly and attentive.

Myself and my daughter went to the Salvation Cafe to try their famous New York cheesecake. We arrived to find that the cheesecake had sold out. We stayed and ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls and gorgonzola burger with some drinks. We waited almost 45 mins for our food to arrive while sitting at a shared table with another patron, without asking if it was okay with us. The other patron was seated 5 mins before us, received his food, ate and paid for his food while we were still waiting.I then requested to pay for my order and to have a takeaway instead after waiting for so long. And this is what we received. A gorgonzola sauce instead of melted on the burger, a burger... that had no lettuce, tomato, or any other condiments.The waitresses name is Cindy. It was a disappointing experience  and I don't think I will be revisiting any time soon. We ended up having our food at a nearby park

I really liked the location and the vibe of the place. Great menu, tasty food. I definitely recommend it. Nice and good service. I came during the weekend and it was busy so we had to queue a bit. Remember they serve breakfast until 12.00 so make sure to be there earlier.Recommended dishesDouble Eggs Benedict

Love, love, love this resturant. I love the atmosphere especially on Sunday's. The only thing I fell in love with and only eat is the savoury toast it's always 100% delicious everytime.Food: 5/5

947 was right about the cheesecake!  Great little cafe, really nice menu options and a mean eggs benedict. Drinks were HOT, food came FAST, cake was GREAT.Food: 5/5

Brilliant coffee shop.  Homemade Granola was excellent too.  Easy to see why it keeps being cited as one of the best coffee shops in Johannesburg. Would visit again.

Lovely cafe located in 44 Stanley shopping plaza. Tons of healthy food options to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Options for indoor and outdoor seating.Food: 5/5
