Fantastic, flavourful food. Good portion sizes. Mexican at its best.  Service is good, if not a little slow, but the fun Mexican vibe makes you forget about the delay.

I had my 30th birthday party here, in private bar area. Staff were very attentive and helpful in accommodating wants and needs, food was excellent, awesome vibes and atmosphere. The sound system play your own music great option, not the best sound, but sufficient. All round had a blast!

Awesome restaurant. Good music. Friendly staff and a super relaxed atmosphere. When their frozen margarita machine is working it's totally worth it having a few.  It's very rustic, especially the back, but it's a super nice place.

Good vibe. Good food, however it is HOT! Unfortunately they didn't deliver on their promises though - had booked out a room for a birthday event a month earlier. They clearly forgot and ended up putting us in a general area and had to remind them to bring the welcoming drinks which didn't come with moustaches as arranged

A great little Mexican place with a broad enough menu you should find something to enjoy if you like Mexican Food. The service is friendly and efficient and always willing to go out of the way to make you feel welcome. If you need to have a party and are lacking for a venue visit Cafe Mexicho and check out the space at the back and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Cafe Mexicho is always an awesome night out or even if you are looking for sun downers with some mates and to enjoy some authentic Mexican food.  We just went for a late lunch and ended up having a night of a lifetime. The service was great and the vibe even better.

Service is a bit strange and slow. But it's come to be expected and the food often missing ingredients originally picked but replaced with equally good ones is so divine. Don't go with high expectations, but leave satisfied :

They have an amazing atmosphere and excellent customer service. Owners' are always there and they build a relationship with their customers. It's own hangout place. Great  for anyone...young and old.

Probably the best Tex-mex food in Johannesburg. There is a fantastic party vibe on weekends. Service and preparation times can slow down during busy hours but this is the price one pays for popularity and walk-in admission :

Probably under new management if I had to guess... Don't have stock of basic alcohol or ingredients... Deep fryer is broken so they could only serve certain items. Frozen Margherita machine also broken. On a downward death spiral... It's a shame. Used to be a great place.
