Revolution Cycles is owned and run by a Cape Town family who have been a part of the City Bowl social and residential landscape for more than three generations. The three family members are Gail, Stirling and Stirling-James Kotze.

My wife and I been going to Revolution for a couple of years now. She has a Trek mountain bike and I have a Stumpy both bikes get taken care of and kept in immaculate condition by the Revolution team. No job is too big or too small and they always happy to help. Best place to go to if you looking for biking stuff and if they don’t have they will make a plan to get. Don’t forget to try there coffee while you browsing the barista knows his story.
These guys are the best IMO. I've used RC for many years and Stirling Jnr and Jono have been especially helpful. They recently helped with a re-build of an old bianchi frame I had, which I updated with parts from the UK as no supply in SA. So in the main I was paying for labour and some smaller parts. They couldn't have been more helpful and the end result is amazing. They also once sourced a tiny part from Israel again no supply in SA for a KTM mtb...going well above and beyond. Very happy and always recommend to friends!!
I love going to Revolution Cycles.They treat me extremely well. Once I had a small problem with my bike . I arrived just before they were due to close , expecting my bike to be booked in for the following day. No ! Dylan stayed on, well after hours to help me. How's that for fantastic service ! Thankyou so much to all the staff.
Always such a pleasure dealing with Revolution Cycles. They are time and money efficient, provide excellent advice are always super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!!!
Discovered this gem by pure luck. I ended up going in to have a look around. Was really impressed by their range as well as their excellent service. Keep it up guys.
Not good experience when servicing my bike. They made decisions about parts without consulting me, bike wasn't right when I got it back. Then when i returned it, they didn't fix what I asked them to do, instead they did other work and charged me for it. Attitude of the manager wasn't what you'd expect from a place that hadn't done what they should have.
I am absolutely disgusted by the attitudes and disrespect of the two mechanics working here. The one guy who approached me was very helpful and I could tell that he knew what he was talking about. However, while he was showing me around, the one mechanic kept interrupting and shouting at this guy while the other one was just standing there on his phone, and after given a direct order to fetch something, he flat out refused and said "get it yourself". I feel bad for the one oke who I could see was really trying to help, but my goodness, worst customer service! I really think those guys need to change their attitudes if they want to keep customers.. Would not recommend.
Excellent service, very knowledgeable staff and just really nice guys. I won't take my bike anywhere else.
Quick to take your money on retail products with charming great service. But when it comes to servicing of bikes, very vague on prices and what needs to be done. For those who have kids who are getting into riding, this is not the place for you. Think twice as a full service can cost between 7 & 10K... and more then 1 is needed per year!
Very friendly and knowledgeable. You can have your bike serviced or repaired. Large selection of road and mountain bikes. Prices are fair. Very good range of accessories and spare parts.
