Rivercity Inn Upington

I believe there is better value for money in other places. It's a hotel and not a guest house. The parking is few and only on the street. No parking behind a gate. The breakfast is really good but there's a few things in the room that they can give some attention to. The shower wasn't very clean and the hot and cold taps were marked wrong. The carpets can do with some cleaning. You may also have to carry your bag up several flights of stairs. It's central to town and between the shops, thus nights are quite noisy with street noise.

Friendly staff and homely atmosphere made this hotel feel like a guest house. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with more than just the bare minimum. Jane, if you are reading this, thank you so much for being a lovely and gracious host. Your friendly service makes all the difference.

Rooms were fine but no parking

Fantastic, the colors on the wall have a calm effect and I slept wonderful. The funitures beautiful and perfect. The breakfast was amazing. Staff very friendly and professional.

Not that bad for it's standards. They must just clean shower floors accordingly. And dust off spiders on celling in room 111.have take away for clients. Cook enough food for breakfast. Overall they have great stuff. All anties are friendly and always in mute.

The service was out of this world the personel is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I had. Great stay

The facade of the building and the decor is very modern and stylish. But the rooms doesn't completely match this. There is a stunning coffee machine in each room but unfortunately we had to ask for capsules for the machine. The bedding as well as the air conditioning needed an upgrade desperately. The rooms are not sound proof, and we could hear noises that the fans and coolers and what ever else made right through the night. Also the light of the hall way had shown directly in our room as that was the way the door had been fitted. The promised views was also completely missing. The breakfast was very nice.

Nice stay. Good breakfast. No parking. Park on the street - big drawback.Rooms: 4/5
