Saveur Restaurant Simonstown

We were seated very quickly and the sarff were extremely friendly, the views amazing. We had a choice between the breakfast and lunch menus. I have to say the beer battered hake was absolutely mouth watering, theeeee best hake I've ever had. Compliments to the chef. It was a wonderful family lunch. Thank you for the experience.

What a beautiful evening! A walk along the pier before dinner and then seated looking out over the Simons Town Harbour. The service was excellent with passionate servers. The food was prepared fast and my fish cooked to perfection, while my husband oohed and aahed over his steak. We certainly recommend Saveur for an excellent night out.

Excellent food and even better service. The chips were very crisp and the steak super tender. Absolutely recommendable.

Relaxing lunch with my wife at Saveur. I had grilled hake, grilled calamari and prawns. Although I much prefer fried because I'm that unhealthy the grilled meal was quite appetizing. I had the Anura Chardonnay to wash this down. Very good wine at a reasonable price. My wife had a burger topped with camembert and cranberry. I had some and it was quite delicious. The location of Saveur is in the central part of Simonstown with other interesting eating places like Salty Dog and Berthas close by. Parking may be a problem as the area is very popular.

Lunch at Saveur where we tasted seafood, pasta and salad was a great experience. The service is above average with waiters who truly care and want to make you happy. The food was excellent and the scenery the best part of our experience.

This was my first visit, but it will not be my last. The food was very well prepared. The staff were friendly and efficient. The views of Simonstown yacht club and the navy are amazing. They have specials every weekday so check out their website for more information.

The food was all round disappointing. The fish was tasteless and didn't have any seasoning. The fish batter was extremely thick and oily. The service was decent and the atmosphere lively.

Friendly staff, nice view, and inventive menu. Fabulous mussels in a Thai l-style sauce and great salad.

What a magical evening. Thank you! Spending New Years Day at Saveur was a highlight. Not only did we have that gorgeous sunset view overlooking the harbor but some of the yummiest food I've had in Cape Town recently. We started with the ridiculously fresh oysters, which were excellent and then I moved onto the Cajun chicken burger. I still can't keep my mind off that goat cheese mousse. The combination, while surprising, was just so inventive and I'm 100% returning just for that. My friend had the chicken salad with your miso dressing, which was delicious. We finished the evening with the Sticky date pudding and I'm sorry I offered to share. Again, that's another reason I'll be returning to the Deep South. Such friendly, efficient service, gorgeous view, inventive menu - what a find! Thanks all for a delightful start to the new year. Vegetarian options: Many.
