"My name is Shelley Vermaak. I am a registered and qualified counselor. I am registered with the Council for Counselors as well as BAPSA. My qualification is a B.A. Degree in Theological Studies and Pastoral Counselling. I have just completed my Level One Gestalt Play Intervention Certificate. This enables me to work with children. Please take special note that I am a COUNSELOR, I am not a psychologist. You will not be able to claim my fees from Medical Aid. I am based in Nigel on the East Rand. I have made a lot of progress since starting my sessions with Shelley. Every time we meet I realize that I am so much closer to the person I want to be. Shelley creates a safe and welcoming environment whilst still being honest with you about what may be holding you back or keeping you down. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants and needs some change in their lives.

I would personally recommend Shelley Vermaak’s counselling services. She is an excellent counsellor and can relate to anything you say. She has a lot of in-depth real life experience and knowledge. She is an excellent listener and the passion and dedication she has for her work shows in the manner she treats her patients.
Shelly is very accommodating. Having online sessions with her is a huge benefit as i do not have transport. I felt very comfortable opening up to her, I have been seeing her from last year and see that there is a huge difference in my life. Very grateful to have her. Highly recommended

A very kind, thoughtful, professional person who makes you feel at ease. She is easy to talk to and even shares some of her experences. Her level of confidentality shows. She always looks neat and her working environment is relaxing. She has a great sense of humor and all round fantastic Councillar.
Shelley has years and years of experience in helping addicted individuals. Her passion, and insight into matters recovery, family and in particular, addiction and recovery issues relating to woman and partners are astounding. In my opinion she's got the ability to be the best in the country in this specific niche and I wholeheartedly endorse and support her in her mission.
