Birthdays are best enjoyed at spur I had an amazing time and the food was enjoyable, got free ice cream cause it's my birthday so that was splendid. Not forgetting the singing and beating of the drum by the workers; was really good.
We called at the 11th hour for a booking of 42 kids and 9 adults for our Sunday School team. They gave us the outside area and made the kids feel at home and part of the family. They catered 42 burgers and ice creams at short notice and they were perfect Thank you Belinda, Ethal, waiters and the lady’s at the face paint area for your warm hospitality and accommodating us
The service as far as making the booking and the friendliness of our waiter was exeptional. Our table was ready and waiting when we arrived which is impressive seing that we went on a month end Saturday. The waiter was carismatic and helpfull however there were some issues when our order arrived. Dispite the order being read back correctly when we placed it, one meal was served with a rare steak instead if the requested well done. That same meal was supposed to be served with hot vegetables but arrived with chips and onion rings. Since the waiter got the order right I'm assuming this confusion ocured betwee front and back of house. Our drink order also had a mixup where the water got confused with the milkshakes. We ordered one Bar One and one KitKat Milkshake. Both arrived but when we directed where each one should go they got swopped. Admittedly they do look similar but one would expect there to be some procedure to ensure this does not happen. Unfortunately the person who's order was wrong did not notify the waiter and thus I can not comment on how this Spur handles the correction of such mistakes but based on the service received otherwise I'd assume they would handle it well Overall this was a good ecperiance with a few minor hiccups but the good outweighed the bad and I would definately visit this establishment again.
By far the worst Spur that we have ever been to. We're seated and never helped till asking a manager after 9 employees look at us while on their phones and having breakfast. Wish i could give less than 1 star. And now u must still pay and leave a tip...
Friendly stuff and nice food. Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly zone, well secured Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Granted there was loadshedding but the service was dreadful. We waited for ages only to be told the toaster was broken. The food tasted awful and whatever was made, old oil was used to cook it. For a meager toasted sandwich it was unpalatable and the eggs on the sandwiches could be bounced off the wall. Being a pensioner this certainly was no treat. Never again.
Got there just past 20h00 and got told by the front desk they are closed even though there operating times say thay are open till 22h00 and there where still a few tables being served. So either stay open the times stated or change your operating times.Service: 1/5
At first it was alittle bit frustrating.... But the manager Irvine did a great job at getting us a Waiter and was super professional and friendly thank you for the really good food!! Will definitely be back
They were very busy and they did everything to make sure we where happy very friendly environmentFood: 5/5
They have NO CLIENT SERVICES. Can might as well close down. With one table of clients...there was no service. Staff stood around joking. On entrance 2 ladies argued over a telephone call. Pathetic!!! After we left they came running after us to assist which i feel is uncalled for. If they wanted to provide a service they should have done so while we were inside Spur...not in the parking area.
