Mission

SPCA LOUIS TRICHARDT

We have a qualified Inspector who is dedicated to protecting all animals and were necessary, prosecuting any person who is caught wilfully abusing an animal.

Our Inspector will go to any length to rescue an animal which is in distress.
He is on duty 24hr a day, 365 days a year, to help and assist any animal which is in need of help.

The staff at SPCA Louis Trichardt believe that an animal's welfare should be considered in terms of the five freedoms which provides a good foundation:

* Freedom from hunger and thirst
* Freedom from discomfort
* Freedom from pain, injury or disease
* Freedom to express normal behaviour
* Freedom from fear and distress.

Great place. Pets are cared for and have an awesome vet service in same building. The pet grooming is also brilliant. Would recommend them to anyone. The staff are awesome and will help you find the perfect pup.

It’s like they don’t want you to adopt the animals, still waiting for someone to come and inspect my house almost a year later No feedback whatsoever regarding the application.

The staff is so friendly and very eager to help. They did a very thurough inspection before we were able to get our fur-babies. They were also very happy to offer advice for getting our pups to adjust and hoelw to make our house a better home for them. Thank you so much for letting us take Lexi and Luna home

Very good place for pets

Staff have an absolute passion, Patrick and Alicia are especially wonderful. Please support them so all the lovely animals they take such good care of can find a forever home, they only have so long before a trip 'cross the rainbow bridge is inevitably their destiny...

Always helpfull. They care allot about animals. And they orgenise allot of events to raise money.

The staff is always friendly and always ready to assist. I have never seen the place dirty. The really take care of the animals at their place
