Standard Bank - Cresta

I had to change some money and get a new bank card and was given fantastic service by Patricia. After changing the money at the tellers I thought I would have to stand in a separate queue for my new card but Patricia said she could assist with that as well. She even took me outside to the ATM’s to assist me in changing my PIN. She helped a few clients outside near the ATM’s as well while waiting for me. She even suggested that I change my account to save money on monthly fees. Great service in a busy branch.

I would like to extend my greatest gratitude to Ms Koketso. This lady was absolutely amazing at addressing my issues and solving my banking problems that has been on-going for 10+ Years. She always kept me updated on how my quiry was goingemails, phonecalls... I mean, she was just the best and she showed real commitment to her work. I will forever be grateful for this lady. Thank you very much!

The most pathetic service ever! Waiting over an hour to get some assistance. One teller at the counter and absolutely no urgency. Staff are slow, rude and obnoxious

Most of the time there is only one teller for a number of people. We have to wait a long time, up to 2 hours, before we get service. This is unacceptable. My boss is leaving standard Bank & going to another bank as a result there of.

Cresta Branch service is always ridiculously poor. I always spend a minimum of 3 hrs on a good day when I go there. Wonder why the guys who work there don't see it as an issue that takes us back. Hrs spent at the back are non productive. Multiply that with the number that go there in a day and....

The reason at this stage in Cresta is that everyone that was at Campus square had to go to Cresta as there is a power outage problem there . One cannot jump to a different bank because of queues the banks is busy yes the other banks are the same the grass is not always greener on the other side. Choose your timing correctly to go to the bank and don't wait until the last minute. There is a lot of stress in this world just practice Patience Amen. I had to wait not too long and I was assisted and am home now. Some people have the tendency to overreacted just stay calm. Thank you

Worse service ever, slower than capitec atm lines, consultants are slow and just bad service. Deserves half a star

This is not a slam at Cresta branch, but at standard Bank in a whole. I just realised it’s easier and quicker to transfer my cash to another bank and change where my salary goes, and not use standard Bank at all than to deal with your customer care line. It’s almost 2023, step up

All in all, standard bank has dropped their services to their clients. However, rather ridiculous that you sit at the bank for 4 hours for a bank card. Unbelievable waste of time

Ridiculous, slow service. One agent cleaned his work station for over 20 minutes after the bank opened, before assisting the first client. Standard Bank needs to look into customer service, as a principle to follow.
