If I could give 0 stars I would. Standard Bank doesn’t value their customers. Yesterday I waited for two hours in line the bank just to collect my card, but wait - it doesn’t stop there . After waiting 2 hours in the line , I thought to go outside and check on the safety of my car. I literally stepped out for 3 minutes- when I came back they locked me outside and told me that they are closed !? I tried to explain that my name is already on the enquiry list and I just went to check on my car. The staff completely dismissed me and ignored me. After wasting two hours in the line, I stood outside looking like a fool. So if you’re reading this - do yourself a favour and find a bank that values you as a customer, standard is not the one. I’m changing banks after yesterday’s experience.

The service here is pathetic. Feels like being in a government facility. Putting aside the slowness, the was a lady called Nozipho at the front desk who took her time receiving her lunch from the delivery guy. I don’t know why she didn’t call for assistance. But she went to fetch her bank card somewhere to come back take time to fix the technical glitch she had with the delivery guy. Went back to put her lunch before she called someone to relieve her. It was a MOVIE

Have been in queue waiting since 12:10 today just to get in to the bank to replace an expired Std Bank card. Entered bank 12:40 and waited in the queue at Enquiries / Service Consultants. Was number 6 in line. Now13:07 and waiting. Only 2 consultants available and one served one customer for some 20 minutes.

Waiting in queue for ages to replace bank card. Two assistants at Enquiries. No hurry in the world. More efficiency required and please don't blame Covid!

The worst branch ever! Literally had to wait 2 hours to be on the enquiry list and more hours to get assistance, it’s like the staff is boycotting. What surprises me is that there weren’t many people who needed assistance.
