Standard Bank, Pinetown

Very poor experience! Over 2 hour to collect a renewed card! Stood outside for half the time in the cold with 2 employees designated to queue management asking us the same thing repeatedly. Surely there is a more effective way to collect a bank card and process can be streamlined? Not acceptable to a customer for over 25 years!

Standard Bank is absolutely the most useless bank to go and ask the most simple thing from. They should go to Capitec Bank and learn about basic client services. 1. Can's locate the nearest branch on the website; 2. Find the branch and go there: 3. arrive and there is nobody to approach at the help desk; 4. Eventually somebody appears and ask for a name and contact details at the branch for delivery of a Natis Document. 5. Be made to phone the Vehicle asset division whom start sending you form pillar to post. 6. When to irritated and leave the branch; 7. Try to rather phone the branch; 8. only get details for national call center, no details for actual branch; 9. Be sent around from pillar to post again.

Extremely terrible service.I had to wait 2 hours, for me to be attended to.After I was told to wait for 30 minutes outside in order to be let in the premises.

Held on for 18min spoke to 2 people and they couldnt help me with an account i need to open. Then put me on hold againagain.

They couldnt help me cause i dont work or study the assistant had a limited mindset as if they were the one to fund my account
