I went here to watch chickenhare movie with my youngin. I love how clean the place is and how everything is digitalized. It’s a bit pricey although it’s expected as it’s a classic cinema. The service at the collection counter was also great. Worth a come back
I love it because I cal leave my kids with their staff while I am busy with shopping never complain proud of you team
The theater is very dated, the seats have been upgraded and the seats were cheap, the snacks however were very expensive compared to Numetro prices and the service was also worse. This one also does not take cash at all card only for tickets and snacks and you have to order both at the self help desk.
Took my kids to watch Super Mario. Cinema 5. The smell of paint fumes is terrible. Felt sick by the time the movie was over. Also got the wrong drinks, but didn't bother asking for the proper order as we were going to be late for the movie.
Very pleasant experience, the attendant who help with booking the tickets and placing our popcorn order was brilliant, really friendly and helped making our choices real easy unfortunately didn't catch his name but he's a real asset to Ster Kinekor Kolonade, will definately visit again
It was an ok experience. In cinema 7 there is seating for couples, which was awesome. The sound and imagery was crystal clear. The snacks were good and they had a nice variety of combos. I didn’t like that they didn’t have Maynard’s brand for wine gums, we were given some odd brand which didn’t taste good. My one problem was that there was no staff member in the actual cinema. I say this because the aircon was way too cold, it made it uncomfortable; I would have liked to have let them know without the need to leave and miss parts of the movie.
Very bad experience. First of all, the person serving the popcorn could not understand what flavor drinks we wanted, and the popcorn was only half full. The theater was so hot and they didn't even put the aircon on. We listened to the movie in the next theater. And to top that all all the machines to pay our parking was out of order causing a very long queue at the the office. Kolonade Ster Kinekor..... you will never see this family again.
The place was nice. The power cut near the end of the movie at the most important part. They had no backup. But they did give us gift vouchers to come back. Just wish they had a backup
Booking were quick Cinema clean The movie started later due to loadshedding and then there were no interruptions Enjoyed the popcorn the downside is they serve te popcorn in brown paper bags which is very noisy Overall Avatar takes to the water was great
Went to watch john wick 4 movie was great but they forgot to turn the lights off at the beginning and near the end the movie the projector kept shutting of and no one was around to help and when they turned it back on they kept cutting back to the wrong part horrible for something you paid for
